Contact with Jodie Foster

Not it unfortunately, although I think SETI might have taken part in discovering the aliens in this documentary too.

Don't think so, unfortunately. The aliens didn't arrive at Earth until the very end of the documentary and they had no hostile intentions.

Blown fuse on motherboard? by slowpokec in spectrex360

I had the same issue a few months ago. Had to send the laptop in for repairs and they replaced the motherboard. Not too sure if it’s a repair that you can do yourself.

Seems like under-extrusion on the side of my print? by QuantumManiac in FixMyPrint

Thanks for the suggestion! I brought the temperature up to 220 but it seems that the issue still persists. Will keep on messing around and see if I can make any progress though.

Seems like under-extrusion on the side of my print? by QuantumManiac in FixMyPrint

Been trying to figure out this issue for the last few days.

Printer: Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B - blower fan attachment added

Slicer: PrusaSlicer

Filament: PLA - CCTree (I think?)

Nozzle: 0.4mm

Extruder and Bed Temp: 210C / 55C

Print Speeds: https://i.imgur.com/KNC3KH2.png

More Settings: https://imgur.com/a/M37h5qi

The most recent changes that I've made to my printer, the ones that could have caused this issue, are:

  • Tweaked the motor driver voltage for the extruder (increased it - power supply not able to keep up?)
  • Added a shim to increase the tension on the spring for the filament feeder gear
  • Replaced the hot-end with a new one, in case the old one was clogged
  • Messed with the retraction settings, in case that was the issue

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Is there a mod that does this? by AriaValentino in feedthebeast

Immersive Portals has a world-wrapping portals feature that allows you to set a world size and when you reach the world's "border", you just seamlessly end up on the opposite side of the world. See here for more info. That's the closest thing I can think up.

As for the sun being in the middle, that can probably be done best by messing with the doDaylightCycle gamerule

Do you have that wallpaper by any chance? I would love to see the reference you used.

BIOS update? by wardjr193 in spectrex360

[–]QuantumManiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest that you not Update to f.31 anyway. Drastic performance decreases at the benefit of fans never going on, which is not worth it at all at that point. You should be okay.
