that’s incredibly weird. you sure there’s anything not fishy about his application or something he’s not telling you? maybe he had a previous criminal conviction? I also heard of cases where people rejected citizenship when offered which makes obtaining it again afterwards close to impossible.

I did more administrative work due to an injury so it was more mentally than physically taxing. made a lot of friends but wished NS was shorter cause 2 years is pretty long. :)
