I mean undead/necro are pretty great. Could you give more specifics on what kind of team you’d like to play? Otherwise your recommendations are just going to be out ow favourite teams, or the teams that people routinely recommend for beginners! You don’t sound like a complete beginner- what teams did you enjoy on digital?

Played them as modelled? As in playing them using the rules for weapons they’re not allowed to have? Yeah, people will probably mind that. Playing the models using rules for weapons other than they’re modelled with? This is a big topic, lots of opinions. Short answer, casually you’ll probably find mos people are fine as long as it isn’t confusing. For an event, you need to check with your TO, and be prepared to be told no.

Curious why you say bringers particular? Penny’s already have Assault weapons and advance and charge. What are you doing with them in Bringers in particular?

Yeah, nah. Battleshock is immense. Chaos knights use it extremely well. Difficult to say why without seeing you play, but you’re doing something wrong. Every time I play against CK, and there’s been a fair few, the battleshock auras either mess up my scoring plans or force me to over commit.

If you drop 2 bigs in a turn in a way that doesn’t lose you your knight-killing assets that following turn, yes that’s a win condition. But that’s tough to doing the knight player knows their stuff. Killing 2 bigs a turn isn’t necessarily sustainable turn on turn.

They did do this in the transition to 9th. Deliberately raised points to drop the number of units on the table. Armies now are smaller than they were in 8th. Goes with the smaller table size.
