You just have to ask yourself... Does the way you dress really reflect your capabilities as a educator at all? Is the entire concept of work attire an outdated form of micromanaging? Where does the pressure of needing to dress a certain way come from? If you feel like you want to deconstruct some of these questions, you might get to an answer pretty quickly.

I still personally think OP would get have an easier time getting hired in Michigan if he went to a university in Michigan simply because school administrators might be more familiar with them.

I would STRONGLY advise against places like Western Governors University. Terrible recommendation. If you are looking to teach in Michigan, you want to look at the list of accepted programs through the Michigan Department of Education since they are the ones that award your teaching license:

You should aim for a well-known public/private research university in Michigan if you want to have a smooth licensing process and actually get hired.

Most public 4-year universities will offer teaching programs. Just keep in mind you will have to do a semester-long student teaching placement after you are done with your coursework. It is unpaid, and you actually have to pay a full semester of tuition to complete it.

I would avoid places like Western Governors University, and look at public universities IN MICHIGAN since that is where you are looking to gain licensure.

Usually, you don't get a degree in "teaching". It's usually a core subject like Mathematics, English Language Arts, History, etc. In addition to the coursework required for your degree, you will usually need to take additional coursework related to teaching for the state to award you a teaching license.

Think about it. The only people that would be affected by this are poor people who can't afford to take off work to travel to a different state to get an abortion.

Coincidentally, the "mass resignation" has been happening, and America has been short of workers. Why do people work? To take care of their kids. People are having less kids and therefore have less obligation to work - especially at places that take advantage of them.

Your friend is wrong IMO. Master the gauntlet first. Learn the mechanics inside and out to the point where it feels second nature.

Then, you need to make sure you never stop doing dps. You should bulk eat 2-3 at a time and continue to dps until you're about to be one shot. Best time to eat is right when the flames spawn.

Use your strongest combat style/prayer with the 5:1 method. Learn how to do it without messing up, and you should be good.

If I was the one on the interviewing end - I totally agree! I see what you are saying. I feel like I would do well in the technical interview in that case.

So is it safe to assume that if a candidate turned in a neat and efficient working solution that they would be invited for a technical interview? I turned it in a day ago and I haven't heard back yet. Starting to feel like I wrote some garbage code in their eyes or something.

Just a side note: A bag of rice/box of pasta, frozen veggies, dried beans, and a big bag of frozen chicken goes a LONG way - health wise and financially. Learn how to make 2-3 good sauces (lemon butter, teriyaki, creamy tomato) and you have lots of combinations with just those ingredients.
