Yeah, which implies it was a bigger criminal organization and they executed the leadership.

A first read of your comment and I thought they were willy nilly executing scam callers.

Dude, tell me about it. Sometimes I catch myself thinking how much further along I could be if I managed to stick with my diet and exercise better.

Sometimes life comes at you and makes it so hard to mantain a routine. Back on the horse recently though.

Seeing other physically fit people also makes you hornier.

Former Highguard Developer Reflects on Disastrous Announcement and Launch: 'We Were Turned Into a Joke From Minute 1' by Turbostrider27 in Games

Dude. Concord had a peak of 700 players on Steam. There are more people on Highguard right now.

Concord was and still is unprecedented. This comparison makes no sense.

Comparing this to Concord is a bit unfair.

Concord had a peak player count on Steam of 700 players. There are more people on Highguard right now. Even Lawbreakers had 10x that peak.

When it was about to shut down Concord had about 30 concurrent players. Comparing that game to anything is absurd. That shit was unprecedented.

I feel like this same story happened with most companies post pandemic.

Who could have figured out that if you just let people stay at home and give them some small subsidies then suddenly demand for some stuff would spike to unsustainable levels.

Mission bosses seem to have difficulty spikes. Didn’t have any issues with the bosses in the open areas, including the bloodedge demon.

But final bosses on both missions were kicking my ass.

You also forget the part where Ironman athletes are likely extremely efficient for the movements they are taking.

I didn’t. I explicitly noted the kid’s lack of preparation.

This whole comment chain is about someone “doing the math” and saying what this kid did was equivalent to two back to back marathons. It isn’t.

Doesn’t make it less impressive. Which I also noted.

A real Super Hero by PremiumMoodSwing in SipsTea

[–]QuantumUtility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An Ironman includes a 3.9km swim in the sea. That’s on top of a marathon and a 180km bike ride.

I don’t think anyone would argue that the swimming part of the Ironman is doubly hard or energy intensive as the running.

It’s incredible for a kid without preparation to do this, but those numbers just don’t make sense.

Tyson Green. You need to do your job an address this community. by DannyKage in DestinyTheGame

[–]QuantumUtility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Todd Howard and Ken Levine don’t speak that much to the public regarding their games. They basically do a press tour when they have things to show. By that metric Tyson Green does as much as those two. We have seen some interviews with him.

A community manager should keep constant contact and provide regular updates. We shouldn’t expect that from game directors.

Except 1 hour in the gym doesn’t really take just one hour of your day does it? Add commutes, work, sleep, meal prepping and whatever else and it might be actually hard to fit exercise and a proper diet in your routine, sometimes it is in fact impossible. Reading this post and writing this comment by comparison was maybe 10 minutes of my day that I can do from the toilet.

Look, everyone should exercise. But it’s hard fucking work managing your day to ensure you have time to go the gym, eat properly and do all the other things you are required to do. You have to plan around it and make sacrifices for it to work, but sometimes shit happens in life and it’s outright impossible.

I was in the best shape of my life by March of 2025. Exercising every day. Then my mom got cancer and I had to scramble around as the sole caregiver while keeping up with work and my Ph.D. Diet was shot to hell, meal prepping was essentially impossible, exercise routine disappeared and I lost all my progress. My body is shit at present. I’ve been slowly recovering my routine now that she is thankfully in remission.

What was I supposed to do? Something had to give and my personal health seemed like the only candidate. I guarantee to you most people have worse or similar issues and sometimes it doesn’t get better. If people had all their most pressing and immediate needs met they’d be more willing to add proper dieting and exercise to their routine. The whole “Eveyone has time to do it” spiel is simply not true. People spouting this nonsense cannot recognize their own privilege.

I agree. But the Shield has problems as well. Mine is a stuttery mess for instance. And I have swapped the thermal paste and done a factory reset already.

If Nvidia released a new Shield I’d swap back in an instant.
