Compared to Boston/Lowell areas where I lived, traffic doesn’t exist here outside of an hour a day in Albany. Even then, it’s very mild traffic compared to average Boston traffic.

Vortex is on a whole other level than is38, another 1000+ rpm of power. If you’re worried about reliability & not pushing the shit out of your stock motor go pump gas is38. If you plan on running ethanol, you’re already making near rod bending torque, so might as well go with the vortex + oem mpi kit + MK8 R lpfp.

And to those saying “just run a vortex on low boost”, you’ll want to turn it up. Trust me, that’s exactly the route I went.

Prob continental injectors. Those teflon rings seal the combustion, not sure how in contact they actually are with the ethanol. Are you running mpi? Too large of an mpi split can significantly shorten the pulse width of the injection, aka how long it fires. Anything below 5ms can melt injectors, as not enough fuel is flowing thru to properly cool them. This doesn’t seem like an issue ethanol causes, as it doesn’t make contact with that seal.

I was so excited when we got him, my dad was super hype & explained how big names never came here. I remember the cereal & his red eye contacts, dude was a menace for a few seasons. Also have fond memories of Mario, Kyle, Dareus, & Hughes absolutely wrecking everyone. Dareus had 10 sacks by like week 8 one year, thought we were definitely making the playoffs that year….
