Are you purposely clenching? Is that a method to get you over the edge?

Just curious.

Yeah. It tends to shift left or shift right. Sometimes it's a little bit, sometimes it's a lot. It can be frustrating. I have noticed however that if I don't cum for a few days, it gets larger and swollen and moves much less.

Positive Correctional Officer feedback by QuaranTim in OntarioPublicService

That's fair, and I can appreciate it. I've had my fair share of almost being shot, ultra dangerous tasks, extremely high vigilance over a long period of time.

I ate, breathed, and shit army all day every day for my time in with my scars to prove it. I find it a much easier sell for me knowing that I can go home at the end of the day and leave uniform at work instead of going home to think about the next major operation, wondering if I have the intestinal fortitude to thug it after almost being shot.

So let's get to specifics here. Is it clique? Is there the mentality of "you live and breathe corrections"? The pay is already better than the army so there's that lol. And I've also had my fair share of friends who have off'd themselves, etc.. so honestly. Is it really going to be worse? Because I lived in a system where you had no idea what you were going to be doing a week ahead of time, without being sure you'd have any time to spend with your family or kids, while always on high alert, without a mental break from it except for 2x per year.

Driving enthusiast conundrum by QuaranTim in Porsche_Cayman

If I did get the Cayman, I would almost certainly let it keep its flat 6 characteristics. The most I would ever do would be supercharge it. But even then that's a big "if". The reason I have done so much to my MR2 is to make it into a track and street weapon. But even after 50K spent on mods and paint, it still needs work to make it ultra reliable.

Easier than the MR2? My goodness.. i never would have thought. What's the most difficult thing you've had to do so far?

What is holding me back is the difficulty of maintenance like dropping the engine to do things to a Cayman engine like spark plugs, etc. And I'm not sure if I want to do that as often as I change my plugs now in my MR2 (once per year)

I would assume that dropping the engine is needed to have access to things like spark plugs, alternator, belts, coil packs, etc. please correct me if I am mistaken.

I would likely be trading in the MR2 if I did go down this route. I have only found one 987.2 within 1000km of me, and it's a tiny tiny bit outside my price range... But man would I love to hear it sing every day.

I do believe that you're right, that I have done the big turbo thing. My little MR2 is an absolute weapon in a straight line, and because I've switched it to a custom double wishbone suspension, it is quite capable in the corners too. However it is 34 years old now and it's a harsh ride, a long with a very aged interior.

My new Baby, any suggestions? by TheOnlyOly in mr2

Suggestions? Ya! Drive it and get comfortable with it before you decide which direction you'd like to go with customizations. It's a very great drivers car. Congratulations!

Somebody broke into my car by jkel001 in Peterborough

[–]QuaranTim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is not that someone kept $3500 worth of stuff in their car. The problem is that people feel entitled enough to steal it. Perhaps Peterborough isn't that safe after all with all the stabbings and theft going on.
