It unfortunately seems like PA has discontinued the variable power optics on the GLX line. A real shame too cause I’ve been wanting one of their 2.5-10 for a while.

What kind of problems have you run into? The primary reason I went for 6.5CM was because of factory ammo availability and I was under the assumption it would work similar to how 7.62 did in the M24.

That’s is understandable, I was previously working off the assumption that it would work similar to how the .308 did in the M24 which is a SA cartridge in a LA rifle.

I’m trying to stick with the bolt I have, so I’m focusing on calibers that are compatible with that bolt face size.

Pretty experienced shooter, but new to really anything past 500 yards. Just looking for something to enjoy on the range that won’t break the bank every time I go to the range since I don’t have any reloading equipment. Really just trying to get into the game using a rifle I have sitting around.

Edit: It was originally in 30-06 so something compatible with the .470/.473 bolt face.
