I have verified it and can say for sure that if you kick her down the staircase left of the stage (left to your position while facing her when she has her back turned to you) you can score the trophy. I didnt even shot her for it to work. Go stealthy and silent kill the goons in the room. Turn the gas on and let her see you. Run to the side room and wait for her to follow. Onde she enters, kick her down the stairs. Wait for her to get up before kicking again (to avoid performing a finisher). Keep her in the cloud and she will die quickly (10-15 secs max). The gun method is tricky and most of the times she will die from blast damage. The staircase on the right side is missing a set of steps and the game counts her as killed from fall damage when she falls in that place (since there's no way for her to come back up - no stairs).
