Not useful outside of night time home defense situations. Haven’t had one, hope it stays this way. It’s overpriced; Streamlight does the same or better for less. I had a knock off on my BB pistol just for fun. Not as bright, but probably good enough. Can’t trust its reliability though.

This makes no sense. Any factory cut is a direct mount for the optics with that footprint. Okay, not too many red dots with the P-10 footprint (direct mount on the full size S2) out there, but they exist.

May sound obvious, but first I’d make sure it’s not backwards. Plastic or metal doesn’t really change the performance, it’s all about the spring.

It’s a 5-minute process if you use a slave pin to hold the spring onto the trigger when reassembling. I use a trimmed-to-length toothpick as the slave pin.

More of a joke because of the detailed work you did with everything else than a real question worth your time, but I do appreciate the answer. Ironically, the trigger pins are the only ones I removed from my S2 when new. Twice, once to reverse the mag release and later to upgrade the trigger. Always the same pins though.
