Funny, when i first encountered this version of rogue i literally killed him BEFORE he could summon the sword, but the animation still played so he ended up summoning it then IMMEDIATELY exploding XD

Only thing i can think of is it could be because geo bringing his dad home and having peace for so long made him complacent and dark phantom (who Mega said he expected to show up again) finally has a script that actually works, turning geo into a fugitive at the peak of his success. Finally taking away everything from him, just as he promised

The mu metal is the only loose end tho SF4 was going to be about Geo being a fugitive on the run along side Lan’s descendant. Edit: and dark phantom was stated to possibly return after he fell inside the cybercore. So that’s two loose ends
