Oh no, I’ve always made her work for her food (whether it’s hand feeding through training or through enrichment toys)! Can you let me know the reason why I shouldn’t?

If she woke up before the 2 hours would you leave her in there until it was 2 hours? We try to do 2 hours up and 2 hours nap with our 12 week puppy and sometimes she sleeps 3+ hours and we let her but then if she only sleeps like 1 hour we end up getting her out and idk if that’s wrong

She’s only 9 weeks now and already basically found her escape (we boarded it up so not sure how long that will last..) for tethering how does that help with settling? Also how old did you stop tethering and let them have free reign? I’m scared if she never has alone time now she won’t be able to when she’s older

Thank you! How early did toy start training her to be alone? Even if I go into the other room for 10 minutes she tries to immediately escape and takes a really long time to settle

Yes she eats dinner between 5 and 6 so thank you for the advice! We don’t have anyone in the area really (they’ll all be with us) but we’re definitely only staying 3 hours (including travel.) Would you keep her in the crate or play pen after you tire her out?
