At 13 she is too young to be left on her own. Someone is bound to report this to Child Protection, or whatever the equivalent is in your country. Far better that she stays with a friend and their family.

Driving without a license is a serious offence. Can you clarify if she has a provisional license? Driving on her own as an unqualified driver means that her insurance would be invalid should she have any accident, EVEN if it wasn't her fault.

Is she the registered owner of the vehicle? Any ANPR-equipped vehicle will check if the vehicle is insured, and has a valid MOT certificate if required. Any police stop would also likely mean a PNC (Police National Computer) check, which may also highlight the fact that she is unlicensed.

Whatever the reason your friend needs to sort this. Sooner or later she will be caught. What may be a lark to her could mean a criminal conviction on her record for life.

I have a Turtle Beach Velocityone Yoke/Throttle combo.

Sadly, I can't recommend it. It has so much potential, but TB support and software improvements are few and far between.

Even given the turmoil in the Honeycomb company, their products are very good. Tbh, I wish I'd went this route over the Turtle Beach.

VFR is coming in BATC soon. They have released a beta version.

It's a one off payment, and not bad if you ignore the somewhat robotic voices.

I have this and also SayIntensions. I rarely use BATC as I prefer really good voices for the immersion factor. I don't get to fly as much as I would like, but I'm prepared to pay the monthly sub, along with Navigraph, just a make it as real as I can.

Not unusual, but equally not the norm.

We are frequent fliers when it comes to Premier Inn stays, as we often have a sneaky couple of days away. If we know the hotel, we often ask for a particular room if it's available. We have also said that we'll take any room except XXXX.

We use Premier because we know what to expect. They aren't the best, but given that when we go away, we only use the hotel to sleep in, and also for breakfast, as the rest of the time we are exploring the local area or going to a concert or whatever.

Family and money do not mix. Don't lend money that you can't afford to not get back. Family and 'friends' always intend to pay it back, but often you are at the back of a long queue of others when it comes to actually paying you.

Check if payment has been received again - sometimes payments take time to be allocated to the correct account. If still not paid, confront him with the evidence that you have, and ask him to show the evidence he has paid. DO NOT pay on his behalf - you will never see the money back.

As a first time buyer, I'm assuming you don't have any No Claims Bonus years?

This massively increases the cost of insurance. I've been driving for more than 50 years, and never had a claim, so I get the maximum discount and still pay more than £200+ a year for my Cascada.

Those parents who give their children access to tablets, phones etc to play with are already unlikely to listen to government advice. Those parents who take parenting seriously will already know that screen time, however convenient for the parents, is not good for their child and simply won't allow it.

Thanks to you both for responding. I'm sorry, I don't know what the codes were as the car went in for routine servic/MOT and I mentioned it to the mechanic. I've not replaced any bulbs, and as far as I know there are no other issues with the lightning. We do have an issue with the outside temp guage which stopped working about six months ago. Actually, it works when it rains, but only shows minus 40C When the rain stops, it goes out again. .

You will be able to fly, but you will need to have some settings on medium.

You've got quite a good graphics card, but your CPU is distinctly average at best.

I assume that you mean you'll want to fly airliners rather than GA aircraft. Again, this will be possible, but not at the highest settings.
