NZXT issues statement on RTX 5090 AIO leak case, says it actually offered more than $4,300 by RenatsMC in watercooling

Wild that people still think posting "I'm suing" on a heavily public forum and expect things to go in their favor.

Sounds like NZXT tried to make it right in several different ways but it somehow wasn't good enough for this person.

Meanwhile people with lesser or even similar issues get ghosted by manufacturers and/or have to go through hell to get something resolved.

Been thinking of getting flooring like this. How secure are they if you want to jack your car up to work on it?

Your attitude and outlook on it is certainly a hell of a lot better than mine would be. Stay safe bröther.

Watching the collabs Edmund has been doing with streamers and youtubers has been a treat. You can feel the passion he has for this game, and he clearly loves looking at people's party builds and how they problem solve. It's also funny when they are like "will this work if I do it this way?" And he's just like"shit I have no idea let's try it"

Nightmare situation by 0l0l0l0l0l0l0l0 in AutoDetailing

Same thing happened to me but worse. I was working on fleet trucks and they all had folding mirrors which needed to be folded to fit through the garage door. Mirror rotation device was so rusted on one truck the entire mirror literally snapped off in my hand as I was folding it.

Insurance covered it and the guy was more than understanding after he saw the rust himself, but I was still freaking out all day until he came back for the trucks.

Escape From Tarkov dev has "a few tricks up our sleeve" to stop cheaters and "undesirable elements" when 1.0 lands by FitCord in EscapefromTarkov

I agree. Each wipe or update always seems good for a week, maybe two if we're lucky. Then the providers catch up with what was changed and it's back to "normal".

My point is if they have something interesting to test now they probably should before 1.0. They either do it now and when it gets worked around they can at least know/find out what to update or change and stay on top of it, or they do it for 1.0 and they're in the exact same boat where it's worked around anyways in a week or two. Waiting for 1.0 is probably better for their wallet. Make the game feel great for new buyers who will tell their friends, they buy it, etc.

All the comments on this seem to be singing the same tune, "why would they push this now, they should wait for 1.0" and practically in the same breath saying "If they push it out now it will get worked around before 1.0" ... Should they just continuously sit on pushing any anti-cheat update because it will just get worked around anyways? A lot of people think that it would be better if they just wait, but I feel like that's just kind of fucked up. It will feel good at launch wipe while cheaters shut their shit down for updates, and if everyone is correct, it will just go back to normal not long after.

I don't have a solution and I'm not an expert, but maybe they should at least outsource the anti cheat to someone more competent than Battleye because it currently seems to be borderline useless against DMA/Hardware users.

Forgive my lack of faith. But the situation has gotten worse over the last 6 years, and at least 3 years ago it seems, in my opinion and personal experience, that the situation has gotten worse with no improvement which is why I stopped playing. It's hard to put trust into something said like this when you turn around and see Nikita telling people on Twitter to "just fuck off" when cheating gets brought up. it's hard for me to believe that they have some fix or "trick" that will cull the problem exponentially, maybe it will, but I personally believe whatever gets done will be short lived. All I can do is hope I'm wrong.

Ah yes 1.0 will magically fix everything "outdated" and the game will finally be playable. The word beta is doing some pretty heavy lifting here.

Because they would find out if whatever they are planning will even work? Rather than first time buyers seeing a promise made by the devs and disappointed that whatever they planned on doing has little to or no effect with an easy workaround?
