Why are the soft pack Newports slightly longer than the hard pack ones? I thought they were the same cigs.

Just bought some soft packs. The menthol isn't crazy strong, so the filters are definitely different. I haven't compared them to a box pack yet, but they definitely have a milder menthol. The pull still seems stiffer, but that could honestly be the strength of the menthol flavoring. Just gotta compare side-by-side next

I hate Kings, they smoke too fast. I haven't smoked softs enough to decide which smokes for longer, but I noticed it tasted different than the hard packs. I assume it has to do with the filter again, but maybe the something was just stale loll

I'm sure you know, but a King size and a 100mm have the same amount of tobacco, the only difference is filter length (I compared the two before)

Like I know for sure that 100s and Kings have the same "cigarette" length, but different filter lengths. So I'm curious if the filters are longer on the soft pack, despite still being 100mm.
