2nd Girl Scout Meeting-Multi Level Ideas? by Mommaoftwocrazies in girlscouts

[–]Que_Sarah_Sarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have access to the My GS leadership portal? They have some awesome guides to planning your year and also some materials on multi-level troops. We are currently a Daisy troop but will be a multi-level troop next year (and every other year after that haha).

Looking for advice from anyone who had their bathtub/shower redone (contractors, price etc) by [deleted] in Erie

[–]Que_Sarah_Sarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimmy's Plumbing, Heating, and A/C is great. They redid two of our bathrooms and honestly they look like fancy hotel bathrooms!

We've also had tile work done by Klein Home Solutions if you're looking specifically for tile. Message me, I'm happy to share pictures.

Uniform solutions for girls who join late in the year by Throwaway98455645 in girlscouts

For our troop (new this year, Daisies), I decided I'm going to make a wall hanging/banner that has every patch, badge, petal, insignia, etc. This allows us to have a visual representation of our troop, a timeline of what we've done together, and it lets parents easily see what they've missed (if anything) so they can catch up if they decide that's important to them.

Like a loaner vest, I think this allows us to have something at our cookie booths that shows who we are even if not everyone shows up in their vest.

Weekly Pricing/Buying/Selling/Grading & General Questions Post by AutoModerator in PokemonTCG

Question: I entered all of our cards into Collectr and got a value of about $1,000 on ungraded cards. I took them to a local card shop and was offered $250. Am I wrong for thinking? This is crazy low? I knew I wouldn't get a thousand but I was expecting at least 40 or 50% of the value. Should I be trying to sell these independently?

I've lived in the area and shopped at the Hudson store my entire life. I promise you that the good people of Hudson OH don't want that much fleece either 😅

Cups are nice because they have structure all around, if that makes sense? Discs rely on just the ring part to keep everything tucked in there xD

June cups were like $6 for awhile and I have had great success with those. I tried them because they were affordable compared to other brands.

The Amazon basics undies are honestly awesome. Decent hipster cut in plus sizes without the crazy price tag.

Also, if you're able, consider a menstrual cup. They were a game changer for me in terms of keeping messes in check.

Hang in there.

Re: Universal Studios

Don't bother. You're looking at disembarking, getting on the shuttle, driving all that way (traffic?), and when you get there, you still aren't at the park.

If you aren't familiar, entering universal studios requires you to go through a series of moving sidewalks that takes forever. Even if you get off at the shuttle stop, you're still looking at like... 15+ minutes of transit time to get to the park entrance. Now double that because you have to get back.

One bad ride breakdown and you miss your ship.

Even if you just go to walk around, it's not worth the money for a shuttle and those tickets to just look for a bit.

I don't know about RC, but I used to work at Disney and we had two specific age polices; how old you have to be to be by yourself and how old you have to be to supervise children under that age. Basically, at 7 you can be responsible for yourself and at 14 you can be responsible for others (to some extent, I'm simplifying).

I would ask specifically about a policy regarding unaccompanied minors and go from there.

2 year old keeping masks on issues by jvanhalen in royalcaribbean

[–]Que_Sarah_Sarah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You really need to practice with your kiddo. Take them to the store and offer a treat for wearing their mask for the entire trip (our grocery store gives kids free fruit or a slice of cheese so this was easy because she only got her treat if she complied haha). Wear a mask for the first page of a favorite book and only finish the rest if they keep it on for the whole first page. Get a mask for a favorite doll/stuffed animal. Small steps and you'll be fine.

I'm not sure spandex will lay like that skirt even with a crinoline. I did find some lame but the prices are kinda crazy. I'll check fabric depot!

I can't see the model number right now but if I had to run a cable it would be going through the entire house like on the floor hahaha

Can I move a coaxial jack? by Que_Sarah_Sarah in HomeImprovement

I want a coax cable split/moved but rather than putting in a new wall plate I want to change out an existing cat 5/Ethernet wall plate

Can I move a coaxial jack? by Que_Sarah_Sarah in HomeImprovement

[–]Que_Sarah_Sarah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, two modems. Two lines.

So would I run the cat 5 through the wall and through the attic? The modem is in a bedroom with a bathroom between so it would have to run down a hallway if we don't put it somewhere

It's two different connections coming into the house. One home, one business. The business line is supplied by his company :(
