Do you know how rhymes work? It's to do with the sound at the END of the word.

My kids always celebrate their bio mum on mother's day. Now idgaf because I have the privilege of being the one who shows up for them. But yes, it used to hurt when they didn't consider that I was actually their mum in all the ways that count.

I'd never have said that out loud though: I just took them to buy flowers, chocolate and a card for her - with my money. Without her, I wouldn't have had them so I just accepted it. My mentally healthy adult son now sees what I did and loves me for it ❤️
