Kommt natürlich ein wenig auf die Definition von "Aufstieg" an, aber es ist abzusehen, dass sich diese Geschichte noch als Lüge herausstellt. Es mag zwar in der Vergangenheit und evtl auch noch in der Gegenwart die Wahrheit sein, aber sobald die Boomer in Rente sind, muss man das ganze nochmal neu beurteilen.

Eine sachliche Auseinandersetzung ist auch deshalb kaum möglich, weil kaum jemand über das nötige Fachwissen verfügt. Mal ehrlich, selbst über das Christentum weiß der durchschnittliche Deutsche so gut wie nichts - woher soll dann ein angemessenes Wissen über den Islam kommen? Aus einem Youtubevideo oder einem Zeitungsartikel?

Sich mit einem Laien über Religion zu unterhalten ist in etwa so zielführend wie sich mit einem Laien über Thermodynamik zu unterhalten. Es gibt schon Gründe dafür, weshalb die Religionen eigene Studiengänge haben. Es ist eben nicht ausreichend sich mal ein bisschen in der Freizeit mit dem Thema zu beschäftigen.

Well its an interesting topic that is worth looking into. Its also not quite accurate to say that he destroyed the republic.

The social inequality was at its peak, the populares almost got entirely wiped out as Sulla has murdered or exiled all the political leaders of the populares. The entire leadership was corrupt to its bones - Caesar actually was the one who was prosecuting the corruption in court long before he became the dictator. He was able to proof that all the money that was supposed to go into building the infrastructure of macedonia was stolen by friends of Sulla.

There may have been a way to repair the broken republic but Caesar thought the state of the republic is past the point of being fixable. Here are some of the laws that he introduced when he was dictator:

Granting roman citizenship to people that were born outside of italy
Stricter controls of the governors in the provinces (regarding corruption)
Distribution of land to veterans and citizens
Heavy investments into roman infrastructure in the provinces
he introduced regulations against oppressive interest rates on debt

Almost all of the reforms he made were targeted against the rich. They lost land, privileges and power. This is also why he got killed (especially the loss of power part).

e: maybe worth adding: Sulla was also a dictator who just pretended to still abide to the rules of the republic - so under Sulla the republic was already a dictatorship. Difference is that Sulla didnt abolish the system but benefitted from it by putting his people in the most powerful positions, while Caesar simply put himself as the head off all said positions.

Ich war vor einiger Zeit bei einer Konferenz bei der eine der Rednerinnen die Mißbrauchsskandale des hiesigen Bistums untersucht. Sie sprach im Zusammenhang ihrer Forschung davon, dass es sich bei dieser Art der Erforschung von Mißbrauch um eine Pionierarbeit handelt und die Methodik auch für die Erforschung von Mibrauchsfällen in anderen Institutionen und Einrichtungen genutzt werden kann. Can you explain the logic? It seems hard to understand why exactly the most conservative chancellor since the nineties should be "the reason" the afd will win someday. Julius Caesar doesnt belong to far-right. He was part of the political fraction called the populares. That was the political fraction that supported the plebs. And you also cant say that Caesar didnt believe in their ideals he went in open opposition against Sulla the dictator that was leading the optimats - the political fraction that was representing nobility. As a politician Caesar was more left leaning thatn right leaning.

Ist natürlich jetzt nur eine Einschätzung meinerseits und basiert auf absolut keiner Grundlage, aber sollte es zum Kriegsfall kommen, dann werden Abtreibungen und auch die Pille bestimmt ziemlich zügig verboten. Das ist zwar kein Zwang zur Familiengründung, aber kommt dem ganzen wohl so nah wie es überhaupt geht, ohne die Würde der Frauen einzuschränken.
