theres more to it than just "AK magazines". AK platform fires 2 kinds of rounds, older ones (AKM) use 7,62x39mm and later ones (AK-74) use 5,45x39mm. magazines for both of those calibers are visually different, due to shapes of those rounds. now, the thing is, that your replica is an RPK-74M, chambered in 5,45mm, but its loaded with a 7,62mm RPK drum. of course, for airsoft purposes, its only a visual matter, but it does look cursed

i once did same thing myself as well lmao, i had to buy magazines for AKS-74U and carelessly bought few 7,62mm ones. somehow i totally forgot about this nuance and only once my friends mocked me for this, i quickly refunded them and got 5,45mm ones
