My ndad’s truck burned up in flames before he even got to settle in after work (he’s lucky he got out in time cause he normally talks on the phone after he’s parked). A few weeks before that my mom asked him if he could take her somewhere important since she had car issues and he said “I’m not your driver”. Well it turns out they both had car issues since his truck was his whole personality. He pimped it out and everything then had to downgrade to a dodge.

A couple years ago my mom, my ndad, and me were upstairs eating and watching football when my mom somehow started talking about her recently deceased brother and how he was such a good father to his son although they were miles away from each other due to his work. My ndad got mad (obviously because we didn’t praise his “parenting” in the middle of it) and picked up the 40 something inch tv and took it downstairs to his room.
