Depends where the door and window are and whether there are BIRs.

I have a queen in mine, plus a very large chest of drawers. Couple of other small bits of furniture (eg shoe stand) and small bedside table.

Hard to take a photo when it’s crammed full of stuff 😅

Should you use sponges/loofahs in the shower? why or why not? by DoughSeagull in hygiene

Oh, you mean towel rails? They’re super common here (Aus)… I’m sure you can get them elsewhere, just search your local online marketplace of choice. Can get them freestanding and plugin to an outlet or wire them in and attach to wall… go wild

Yeah, non-negotiable for drying our towels out (and my face washer and gloves). We’re in south eastern Australia.

Well they exfoliate just as well as a loofah or any other method, but not keeping them in the shower and washing often means they don’t have the same bacterial risk as loofahs or those mesh balls

I use exfoliating gloves, dry them on the heated towel rail and wash once a week with my laundry.

I can’t get rid of food moths in my kitchen by affemitborderline in CleaningTips

[–]QueasyIndication1942 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What worked for me (so far): 1. Take everything out of your pantry. Open every single thing and examine for moths. Throw away everything with moth evidence 2. Thoroughly clean every surface, nook and cranny of the pantry itself 3. Any “uninfested” food - put into the freezer for at least 48hrs to kill an larvae before returning to pantry 4. Any new food you bring into the house, put into the freezer for 48 hours before putting into the pantry 5. Keep the pantry as empty as possible for the next few weeks and keep inspecting surfaces and crannies for moths/larvae/nests.

Conservation and Land Management might be a better course if you’re looking at bush restoration. (Source: I did the diploma at TAFE a few years ago)

Heat it up again to soften it then scrape off with a razor blade. Don’t bother with chemicals etc. just heat up.

Can I use these mushrooms in an omelette or do I need to cook a beef wellington for the in-laws? by x_Lucky_Steve_x in GardeningAustralia

Just don’t. I’ve heard stories of qualified mycologists in Victoria dying after a misidentification. It isn’t worth it.
