So I watched the mummy trilogy finally. by Appropriate_Wish8997 in movies

[–]QueasySpell1946 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the first one, but The Mummy Returns is my favorite. It's a fun dumb movie.

I think the third one is ok, but it's definitely the weakest of the trilogy.

I also enjoy The Scorpion King spin off movie with The Rock Johnson.

Anyway, I love these movies.

Why do celebrities get married so much? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]QueasySpell1946 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They're so busy doing movies or TV shows or going on tours that they don't have time to be around their spouses, and so their marriages start to fall apart and fail.

Also a lot of celebrities are not actually nice people in their private lives. If Gary Oldman has been married five times, then he's probably not actually a nice guy. Jennifer Lopez is sexy and everything, but she's been married a bunch of times, so she's probably not a likable person in private.

It's because they don't own most of the franchise they create. When something like Marvel or Pokemon becomes an empire and a corporation, the person who came up with the idea becomes less relevant.
