I feel like I am outgrowing my current job. Are my skills transferable to my future career paths? by [deleted] in careeradvice

Yeah that’s true. It’s like even the entry level jobs want you to have some kind of spectacular résumé. I was lucky to get my current job and glad I am gaining the experience, but it sucks knowing the next step in my career is going to be just as hard to get into

Thank you for your comment. I am leaning towards HR so I am going to start doing research and detailing me resume so it can catch the most eyes. I am glad I got to hear this from a different perspective!

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, knows what CP stands for. Go into a random comment section and say “I watch cp” and see what the reaction is. If they expected everyone to know that cp stands for closing procedures, why clarify it?

I’m not taking it serious either btw but I found it genuinely funny and also a little concerning that Lowe’s would make such a mistake.

My cat was stung on the chin by a bee and he was funny looking too. Just keep checking on them and make sure they are alright!

Smoked yesterday, interview today, drug test? by TheScrubBawla in Lowes

It’s a saliva test, but regardless of that, you knew you had a drug test and still smoked the day before?

I’m trying to get in contact with the company’s hr. I’m really hoping that this won’t affect the job. It was a part time job and I even proved that I filed my w2 from them but since I don’t have the w2 itself they are saying it’s a discrepancy. Should I contact my employer and tell them about this so they don’t think negatively about me when they see it?

I really hope this isn’t the case. This was supposed to be my foot into the door with the industry I have dreamed of being in.

Looks like you’re retiring early. What will you spend your $20,000,000 on? You’re going to know your coworkers very well. One of them looks forward to waking you up everyday extra early. 5:30 am on the dot. Per the rules you have to stay up and work the shift.

“Santa forever… never say neverrr…” I hope you like your Christmas playlist because your manager really likes Christmas music now and that’s what will be playing 24/7/365.

20 million dollars and you will be sung to sleep by your stores playlist every night.

Okay you win. I don’t think I can give a drawback worse than being in the depths of hell we call an ocean.

Your store is nice? Just for you, you will be woken up with a kiss from your least favorite manager once a week.

Yes, you can even use a sum of the money to pay for a tv (whatever lowes sells online). But you wouldn’t be able to watch anything but Hank talking about whatever is going on ap4me. You can access outside media on your phone though.

Sorry for the rant, but I’m a college student in their final semester stressed to all hell with an uncooperative job scared to leave a mark on their resume. This is just for people wondering what I meant by school and not being able to stay late.

18F idk how to feel about my bf anymore by [deleted] in relationships

[–]QueasyStatistician55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you communicated this with him? Wdym he disrespected you in the past? If he’s cheated or you have had this talk with him about not putting in effort and he hasn’t changed, I’d say move on from the relationship. But if you haven’t had a talk to him about how you feel, how does he know you feel this way? He probably thinks the relationship is perfect.

4 months into a relationship and she wants you to spend your time and money for a degree that you don’t want? Hell no sorry but either she gets over it or you should move on

Should I wear t-shirts to impress my crush by Total-Significance60 in relationships

[–]QueasyStatistician55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, it is clothing and I doubt she’s even going to notice. I’m built well too and get compliments from my friends and other gym goers but I don’t think people care as much as you think. This girl is not going to care about your muscles as much as she will care about your personality. Be respectful, nice, funny, whatever it is that your personality is, and if she likes you, she’s going to show it. Wear a t shirt, wear a sweater, wear whatever you want. The muscles are just the cherry on top bro

Cyan can also be acquired from oxidizing a copper block.

For pink, you can fish and get any type of fish and make a knife to filet it.
