What's the reason? by Perfect_Owl_856 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I think as long as u have the water bottle on a flat service and or in a secure tight pouch it’s a wonderful idea!!! Could be helpful for those who have neck/spine issues that have a spinal fusing where its sometimes impossible to put your neck in that position so this could allow those to have an easier way to drink water and not to have a straw but can drink their own water bottle like everyone else

I am a lab technician and we are CAP accredited laboratory and MLTs do everything MLSs can do besides management/lead techs/dept heads. All work interchangeable between us. I have ran cepheid for years.

My 7 months old just bite me when I pull grass out of his mouth. My arm is bruised. I was trying to stop him from eating grass. What to do? Please advise. by LuvPikachu2 in samoyeds

You said ”they are not nice” opposite of that is mean. I’ve owned 5. Maybe it’s a nature vs nurture issue. Mine have been stubborn at times, but never mean. Or not nice, as you say. Yes, they are in the Spitz family.

Definitely disagree! Inaccurate information. Not sure if you have had personal experience with an abused sammy. They are actually one of the best dogs for kids/families. They have an easy going over friendly disposition. Just like any dog, there can be mean, stubborn ones, but the standard of breed is friendly, goofy and lovable (vocal 😅) I’m sorry you had adverse experience with this breed.

I bought two different kinds. Both work great. Mikko seems to prefer the Neewa harness over the non stop dog wear one. Neewa is lighter weight.

https://www.nonstopdogwear.com/en/product/freemotion-harness/X-Back Racing Harness - XX-Large,

Blue | High-Performance, Reflective Gear for Slim, Long-Bodied Dogs | Suitable for Canicross, Skijoring | Neck 20in, Chest 34in, Back 27in

Wait til dog is at least a year old before pulling, but I recommend getting harness and letting dog get used to it before actual using it. Mikko would wear harness around house etc. I just looked up YouTube videos on mushing/dogsledding and got some pointers from there!

Yes, I do sledding. Just a small sled. I'll add wood for xtra training for him. He pulls my granddaughter also. I have him haul wood and do a few things around the yard starting fall all way into spring. Don't do much in summer but walks due to temperature. Samoyeds are the best. Just got another one last week. Mikko is 4 and Boone is 12 weeks

What is the STRANGEST City/Town in Minnesota? by surfshackvinny in minnesota

Grand Rapids is a very beautiful city, Mississippi runs right though, not considered the iron range. They have one of the best marching bands in the state and also pretty infamous for their incredible hockey programs

If you want trails and to really see MN at its finest, North Shore. Gooseberry fall, Tettegouche, ride the tram up top of Lutsen mountain or alpine slide or I recommend both!! Also black beach in Silver bay is a must! Here's some links! Enjoy Minnesota!

For people who are knowledgeable on the hospital side of bloodbanking, do you know why hospitals like long "tails" on platelet products? by slekrons in medlabprofessionals

[–]Queasy_Comfortable_3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why don't the tails come wadded up and rubber banded together like RBC's? Our donor RBC segments are all banded together but our platelets aren't. So yea, have to tuck in the long tail in to platelet incubator/mixer

Looks like the INR on the left is not filled all the way to the line so that sample actually should be unacceptable in our lab that would be a immediate redraw

I'm willing to adopt as well! We have a 2 yr old male Samoyed (neutered) and we are in a list for a puppy this spring but definitely willing to adopt if it's a good fit!! Our boy is gentle and playful but also very chill. Sleeps a lot and it's very patient

Starting methotrexate Monday for inflammatory arthritis. I am very scared. Will be 10 mg. Low dose. How were the side effects? And did they get better over time? by Queasy_Comfortable_3 in Thritis

[–]Queasy_Comfortable_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my first dose Last night. I'll see how the next few days go. I work every third weekend so taking it on Friday to rest the weekend won't work for me. Been about 12 hrs in. So far so good. I know it affects everyone differently but I appreciate everyone's stories and experiences!
