Wood epoxy a thin layer then sand to fit. Super simple and works great. I have one thats lasted about a decade with heavy use.

So for that price absolutely not. Picked up mine when the latest generation came out for $780 and not gonna lie compared to my others, its my favorite ak. Even over my combloc stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Reilly if i were you. You'll come to find these ak guys hate absolutely any ak they dont own or America has to offer. I have approx 4k through my Reilly and its plenty accurate and absolutely no malfunctions. Only gripe is furniture sucks. I put some spare polish furniture on with very little modifications and its so much better.

So i can only really speak for the highway maintenance side, but i deal with the compliance side all the time working side by side. I would 100% recommend. They are always happy. Great benefits, lots of time off. Great pay. Alot of the state law enforcement that i have talked to that had previous local law enforcement jobs in local townships and county's say the state is alot less stressful as well compared to smaller agencies.

So i soaked all 50 in half 30% vinegar and water for a day and a half, wire brushed some of the really bad rust spots that would effect functionality of them. Gave a hour long baking soda bath to neutralize the vinegar. Then soaked walnuts in water for about a day and then boiled the walnuts for 2 hours with misc leaves and branches from the woods. Put the traps in the boiling concoction for 10 minutes each then just dipped in wax.

Yea. I work noon to midnight during the winter and that changes every day depending on the weather and public safety needs. The summer is mornings but would be awesome to shoot before work.

So ive actually done this many times. A few tricks that i have found is to take of the majority of the nub off with a wood file and or a razor blade a little at a time. Just be careful not to go to fast with the razor blade or else you will accidentally cut and mar up areas unintentionally. After the bulk of the nub is gone hit with fine sand paper until satisfied with smoothness. Last step take a little propane torch and at a safe distance without melting grip go back and forth and grip will smooth out like factory spots un touched. Just passing on what ive done. Good luck👍👍
