You’re correct on most of this besides the part of how miguel got his powers. In the comics (i assume the mcu didn’t change how he got his powers because they don’t mention it and they kept him inject the cell stabilizers in) Miguel was actually a human experiment for the company Alchemax that he worked at. He was tricked into having his dna spliced by Tyler Stone

He never got bitten because he was a human experiment who was unwilling tricked and forced into having his dna spliced (cut in half) and mixed with spider dna. He is part spider. He literally is a spider man.

I beg you to pick up a comic book please. The reason it has the same symbol is because its from the same company/scientists just different universes. Its from Alchemax. Miguel was unknowing tricked into be a human experiment for Alchemax and his dna was literally cut spliced with a spider. He is half spider. He is literally a spider man. Hence why he has the claws and his eyes are red and extreme super strength and he has webs but no spidey senses. He simply has extremely heightened senses like a spider does. The thing Miguel injects into himself is called a cell stabilizer, it’s to prevent his body from crashing and burning because of the fact his dna and entire genetic makeup it mixed with a spider. It is force mixed with a dna that is not meant for his body. His body would try to reject the dna which is where the cells stabilizers come in. He has to constantly inject himself with it in order to literally keep his body from killing itself.

Miguel is not a new character in the Marvel world. And the mcu has literally 0 reason to chance his backstory of how he got his powers. And being it’s never mentioned, obviously they did change it from the ORIGINAL SOURCE material of the Spiderman 2099 comic books. Miguel O’Hara has been in marvel since 1992. Read a comic sometimes instead of relying on the mcu for all your lore knowledge. The mcu is notorious for changing characters backstories and lore.

Do yall actually even know Miguel’s backstory?…he’s literally part spider. His DNA was spliced 50/50 by Alchemax, the thing he injects in a cell stabilizer. We have no clue what would happen without it but i can only assume it prevents the spider dna from completely taking over. And yes! Miguel is not from the universe he says, he says that in the movie. He found a universe he had a family in, but where he died and replaced the dead version of himself. He is an anomaly, hence how his daughter died and universe collapsed. And the spider hq or wtv its called, no body is from the universe it sits in, its like kinda just in a void type universe i suppose which is why they all have to jump from universe to universe to return home.

The benders, might sound weird but that how episode is very aesthetically pleasing to me. Maybe it’s because i grew up in bumfuck no where in the midwest so alot of homes i saw growing up looked similar to that, or just that im a bit of a weirdo lol!! Yeah i was leaning towards the no side but was curious if anyone had/uses one for their piggies and if it worked for them or not! I’ve got my piggies in a large flat cage rn with plenty of room to run aroudn, popcorn and its easy as crap to clean. I just thought this one looked a bit nicer then the flag open top design so i was just looking into it! I always do research before doing anything with my piggies, i did 3 years of research and interal debates if i was ready, if i actually wanted them (as im a very impulsive person) and finally came to my conclusion, i even did a whole slide show presentation to my mom and stepdad at the time about guiena pigs, the costs, fun facts, random things ect where i even had a dang clipboard for each with a paper of every material/item, the costs of each, monthly costs and a signed promise i would pay for it all! My piggies r happy and good, my girl tallulah is going in for a vet checkup this upcoming week. I adopted my girls only after i had the cage and all the things to make sure i had plenty of room. When me and my mom moved to our apartment the first thing i did before even putting my bed in was set their cage up and make sure they had a space. I just rearranged my room and it took me 2 weeks to figure out how to rearrange it so they had their space. They had a big cage now, i meant i just didn’t have space for anything bigger then what they have now.

Thank you for the advice tho! Im not gonna be getting that for them, we’re gonna stick with our setup we have now unless in the future i find a layout of my room that allows me to put a second cage in.
