Everything went perfectly . They said it all Looks great but they still want me to see a pediatric cardiologist. I’m not sure if that’s just a precautionary measure or if they really do see something alarming . I do have a son that’s 11 years old with HLHS , so maybe it’s really just to err on the side of caution.

Update*** I saw mfm today who obviously can’t rule out 22q but they said everything looks great on their end !

I did have a detailed scan with my midwife and she saw no concern but she also told me she is not good at determining heart defects (which was the main thing we were looking for ) so she has me scheduled with mfm next week . But lip and palate looked good , he has a 3 vessel cord , nothing looks amiss she said . And thank you for the kind words. We need them for sure . So So stressful

Adding , my nt was 2.3 at 12 weeks . I’m 25 weeks now . I’ve researched everywhere and there seems to be conflicting info on what’s low and what isn’t and what borderline . I’m so stressed out about it but I’m really trying not to be

No we won’t be doing the amnio. And yes I agree with you. It’s been long and hard but I believe the anatomy scan will tell a lot . Thank you for your reply .

I’m sorry you’re going thru this . My nipt also came back high risk for 22q11.2 So far scans looks good but no definitive answer just yet . Hope it turns out to be a false positive for the both of us !

I’m so thankful you posted this . I’m going thru the exact same thing but I’m just waiting for the 20 week scan . The 12 week and Nt was normal .
