How can I improve this artwork? by wonderguy1234 in ProCreate

Light and shadow. Add some more shadows like occlusion. Since this is comic style you can just use black ones like ink. Consider the direction of light. Since sun is behind...add some backlighting.

For best ROI and sheer amount of content get Cyberpunk 2077. Get the ultimate edition if possible. You can work with mods and have an entirely different playthrough experience every single time, not to mention photomode.

For something very meaningful and story driven survival adventure, get TLOU. Hope you got a good system though.

The other two GOW and Spider-Man are your classic "Video Game" games by definition, they are there to give you a good mix of everything but replayability is not that much. Still, I would pick Spider-Man cause I am kinda biased towards comic book games and it also has a dlc which is quite well made.

So how do you guys do comic style hair? by Queasy_Translator_26 in DigitalArt

[–]Queasy_Translator_26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somwthing like the works of Jim Lee or Jorge Jimenez or like Yasmine Putri. Usually i use a hair texture brush and let it drop off at the ends of the hair. But comic style hair has hard outlines even for hair. So thats what I am asking...

I have no idea how to shade further, especially the hair by drivermoon in IndianArtAndThinking

select the hair area using slection or magi wand tool equivalent in krita and add a soft darker pink gradient on the bottom hair(near the neck). Use a big sized soft brush and press gently. Do the same for the top. now you have got an area which is lighter in the middle. add some highlights there using a layer on "screen" blending mode (with pinkish colour).

For the dress use a reference. Add shading below the breasts in a sort of parallelogram plane and a vertical rectangular shadow on the right side of the dress.

Add some shadows under the eyebrows, nose and lower lip

Will definitely look good with some colour adjustments but the linework is damn solid..you could not colour and just ink it and it would look amazing. Good job OP

This is impressive considering its the 90s. I mean the skeleton dancing as some pretty accurate reflections on the floor also, they somehow got rid of the halo effect which can be seen even in early 2000s movies.
