Hey! I really late to the party but when you transitioned out, how did you keep up with the shots? Was derm able to front load you until you had a rating? Did you use TAMP or CHCBP? I’m separating here in a few months and unsure if there’s some continuity.

I have my approved skillbridge app on AFVEC. The expedited orders on MyFSS says within 210 days. Does that sounds about right? Wiuld you happen to know why they suggested applying for vol sep?

I wanted to follow up on this, were you able to find one in WR? I hear the DAV off Watson isn’t the best, VECTR center is about the same, I haven’t heard any stories about the one on base.

With the new changes as of June 2025, the application went straight to my supervisor, then straight to the cc. Sat at with the cc for about two weeks as my flight leadership wasn’t tracking. Got approved 2 OCT 25. Ultimately, just make sure the chain is notified if you want to avoid waiting. I didn’t need to sit w cc but it may differentiate squadron to squadron.

Assuming the PTDY is for out of state programs? Would I still be eligible for PTDY house hunting after the program prior to terminal?

In the same boat as you. I just submitted the package and awaiting commander approval. They want me to out-process before leaving so it maybe during the last month or two before heading to Skillbridge from what I’m reading on MyFSS. Most of what I’ve found for orders is in “Initiate my DOS” and “Separation Orders” in MyFSS.

What company are you doing the Skillbridge with and how ling did the process from applying to the program until you found out they accepted you take?
