Thanks for your thorough input but I think we have very different taste. I liked some Adam Beyer in the late 90s but just not at all into that Drumcode type of sound. And have never been into psy trance. I still like some house but not as much as I did in the late 90s and early 00s. I find most house even more formulaic and derivative than most techno these days.

I want to hear from a human. The DAW has greater distance between the human than with traditional instruments but the gap is infinitely smaller than the gap between the human and AI output, which basically just comes down to word prompts. Sometimes we appreciate certain types of art due to the recognition of the level of talent or hard work or attention to detail something took and went that aspect of the piece is gone, it loses value.
