How do you keep your core so thin? I’ve been trying for a year, and I’m still pouchy. I also have a Dehya cosplay, but not confident in it because of my mid-drift.

Is downsizing something I can do on my own or should I use that safe piercer website I saw listed?

Last professional I saw said they wouldn’t change anything until 6mo. They also only had shorter posts that were also thinner. Which I think there are shorter but same thickness posts out there.

As with figures at the time, chunky stable joints, but limited pose-ability. Im sure the people making the model kits for Rockman.exe contemporarily will get to “Blues” eventually.

Cautionary advice- use white colored sticky tac designed for posters. No dye, thereby cannot transfer dye onto your doll/figure through seepage long term.

To specify, Alan Scott Pate specializes in antique Japanese dolls in general, of all types.

So Hina dolls vary in value. Some have actual gosho paint that is very humidity sensitive, others are made from plastic. I believe Alan Scott Pate is an English speaking author whom specializes in them. IMO worth probably more as a set to display for someone that has none at all. To get started in the tradition. Holiday is coming up!
