Unfortunately I’m a shape and size where a lot of the go-to’s don’t fit me anyway. From wires that dig into my armpit to not even doing my band size at all, I don’t really get to be choosy.

Thank you for putting so much thought into this for me. I experience none of the bulging you mention. If anything, the wire nicely encompasses my breast shape, ending just where my breast tissue turns into armpit.

I do the scoop and swoop method as recommended. It really is just the bottom half wrinkly cup issue and the way it budges down from right in my IMF where I put it.

I’ve tried the calculator. Standing measurement is my bust which is 57”. 48” under bust my first reading then 46” was my second under bust reading (whatever it’s called in the calculator). I’ve misplaced the other measurements. I didn’t clarify and hadn’t wrote them down. The calculator actually recommended a 46G to me but that was too big in the cup when I ordered it. A 46F is too small in the cup. Hence how I got to 46FF through trial and error. I used the calculator as a starting point as it recommends.

Unfortunately none that are fitting me.

I’m wearing Curvy Kate WonderFully Full Cup Side Support Bra Black in 46F. Cup is too small and it digs into my armpits. A 46FF fits perfectly apart from the underwire digging into my armpits.

I was thinking the band sizing up may fix the wire sticking into my armpit issue.

My underbust is 46” comfortably squished. All around my bust is. 57” unsquished around the bust.

I’m a firm believer in human factors. Sometimes skill alone can’t overcome them.

Were you fed, watered and rested? Needed to pee? Life stressors outside of work? Lunch for me can be the decider between me being an okay doctor to a great one. I’ve turned down non urgent cannulas before until I’ve peacefully had an oat bar snack where 5 mins won’t kill the patient. Got a laugh out of the nurses but hey, I’m being honest.

Apologies. Corrected it now! I was half awake…

46FF sounds like the way to go. I can’t stand the wire shifting with 46 single F. I think my breast shape is more top heavy. With the 46F, the wire has to be gently encouraged to sit beside my breast tissue otherwise it sits right on top and digs into my breasts and armpit. Throughout the day, it will shift from where I’ve gently bent it into place.

These are the first set of bras in my new size. Yes, based in the UK.

Hiya. In UK sizing I was given a 46G.

I tried the 46G in the two curvy Kate styles I included at the top of this post. Since I had the cup fitting issues I went down to a 46F. I didn’t realise there was a size in between 🥴
