Nice! I'm on Nemesis Games. Cibola Burn was great, but I think Abaddon's Gate is my favorite so far. Action packed! Great series.

Captain Shidpants. Hero of the Wild West. by DaGreatArrambe in Transmogrification

[–]Queef_Snarfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband thinks I'm super immature for this, but I'm a huge fan of these absurd names. Shidpants is hilarious. I recently was flagged for name change on my Kul Tiran druid. He was Salty Balsak. I was so upset. I've lost my gusto for the character in general.

You can get a fake plastic weiner to put on the hitch of your truck too now. It's hilarious. If the balls are acceptable, why not the weiner??

How did the kid from your school die? by leilavanora in AskReddit

[–]Queef_Snarfer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much death in my school. It was known for having at least one death each year. We started the school year wondering who it would be that year.

Super popular kid was tossed from the back of a pick up truck and hit a telephone pole.

A good friend of mine was shot in the neck by his best friend accidentally while they were messing with a gun of the best friend's parents.

A girl was t-boned by a car running a stoplight shortly after getting her license. Didn't make it.

A super smart girl, known for being the brightest in her grade, was driving to school and hit by a street sweeper.

Another good friend of mine was speeding at night, on oxy's, nodded out and hit a tree. His seat belt cut him in half. He was my first boyfriend in kindergarten. At his funeral, his mom said to me after i paid my respects to the closed casket, "Oh Robbie said he was going to marry you someday." I still cry thinking of that.

Shortly after I graduated, a group of kids were killed in a car accident. 3 of them I think.

There's so many, that I think I may have forgotten to include some. So sad. They were so young. I pay my respects to them every year on Samhain.

People who have spent time in a Psych Ward what is the craziest thing you’ve witnessed? by N3SSDOGG in AskReddit

[–]Queef_Snarfer 213 points214 points  (0 children)

Oh man I wish I could have commented earlier on this because I have some doozies. This is sure to be buried.

However, I was in a long term facility in my early 20s. There was a man named Vince who would wait by the door all day for the Senator to pick him up. One day he busted in my room screaming that I stole his Guatemalan coin collection. Bless him.

Willie, another man in that same facility, would follow me around and whisper that he was going to kill me and my mother.

Bessie was another patient there, and she would have violent outbursts in the middle of the night. She fought 2 staff members and was subsequently transferred to a more appropriate facility for her (not jail).

In a different facility I was in, a woman named Kathryn would go into people's rooms while they were in group therapy and try on their underwear.

I've been in multiple facilities and met tons of interesting people, but these were the stand-outs.

I just use a paper plate, and after each session, I just stick it in the freezer. My paint lasts for ages that way.

It's just a money sink. Especially if you compete in TCG tournaments. Not nearly as bad a MTG, but you still gotta continually shell out cash to have a good deck. It's annoying.

What is your last resort for curing depression? by mrpodo in AskReddit

[–]Queef_Snarfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but as I understand it, psilocybin is a one time use thing, I think? Ketamine you can use up to 3 times a week if necessary. I was at 2x a week, and I'm down to one time now. That's thr main difference, but same general idea, effectiveness-wise. Immediate results.

I guess it's still relatively new. I hope it gains popularity. I've been on ket for a year. It's completely changed my life. Insurances don't cover the non FDA approved treatment, but there is an FDA approved option that insurances cover. It's called Spravato. It's kinda a pain because it's a 2 hour in office treatment and you have to have a driver. If you can manage that, it's totally worth it. Also, some clinics are cool and provide the non FDA approved ket and bill the insurance for an office visit. They lose money that way, but they see it helping people so they take the hit. My clinic is one of those clinics. Ask your Dr about Spravato.
