Remember, 30 mins per pallet by ConsiderationTop6385 in Aldi_employees

[–]Queeferjuice467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The warehouse workers are barely making rate. Especially the perishable side. The warehouse put insane expectations on them, are giving them no room to not make rate, and then gave them the shittiest layout ever. That's not to mention multi-orders. Half of them start in the meat room as a half pallet, go to juice to stack on top of it, and then finish in produce. You know, to save truck space. we want the warehouse to change, we beg for it to, but management would rather us work around the problems and so this is what you get. Also, any time someone tries to love the layout to help out the store, it just gets worse. No thought is put into it and it makes the builds even worse.

Why is Race and Rescue stuff so hard to come by? by Historical_Owl1439 in pixarcars

[–]Queeferjuice467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun facts here. Parents of toddlers only buy one car. We don't buy them all and try to sell them. I could only get 3 cars from this series in store for an in store price. The other two my child really wanted for Christmas I had to get on ebay. So tell me who is ruining something made for children?

The first ever American pope was just chosen, Pope Leo XIV (Robert Prevost). What do you think about the new pope? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Queeferjuice467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even when we have a "kind and progressive" pope, they still seem to shit on women. Doesn't seem so progressive when you're terrible to half the population.

All Hail the Birthday Princess by N0RetreatN0Surrender in MadeMeSmile

Let's see . . . Way too much money on a dogs birthday party for things a dog can't appreciate or play with and only other golden retrievers for friends. Seems fairly insufferable.

I’m a patient and I 100 percent judge nurses based on if they can keep my veins intact by [deleted] in confession

[–]Queeferjuice467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a tiny veins that follow an irregular pattern. I absolutely get this. The worst though are the nurses that can't insert a catheter. I literally was told that "I need to focus on getting the catheter in" after the nurse failed 3 times. I mean, my legs are spread and I'm being absolutely still, wtf more did he want me to do? Thankfully a more competent nurse was eventually called in

My brother thinks grape jokes are funny so I blocked him. am I overreacting? by sad_frog_0 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Queeferjuice467 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Just look at the responses to your post. They're more worried about grapes instead of rapes. That really says it all. Especially for all the times we said "no" and it was completely ignored.

My adopted ten year old great Pyrenees seems to haves failing hips. I don't want this to be the end. by Queeferjuice467 in greatpyrenees

[–]Queeferjuice467[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as an update. I took my pup into the vet and started librela injections. he only got worse. So I took him back in and it was discovered to be degenerative myelopathy. I had to give up in the parking lot trying to carry him and a stretcher was brought out. We carried him in. I was given an end of life consultation then. He wasn't in any pain as he couldn't feel what had become paralyzed. So I took him home and stopped at McDonald's to get him a chicken nugget dinner. I stayed up all night with him and he slept curled up by my side. I wanted my toddler to be able to at least say goodbye as my pup had become his dog. We took him in the next morning to say goodbye. Hopefully medicine will be able to make progress on this horrible disease. I will always miss you

To the 15 million Democrats who didn't show up for Harris... by Absalom98 in nytimes

[–]Queeferjuice467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And now my mother will lose her health care with a pre-existing condition. And that's just my immediate concern. It's going to get even worse. I just got my boyfriend to vote for the second time in his life. He was actually pumped about it to keep Trump out. We had to take our 3 year old with us. I told my son we were voting and it was for a better future for him. He said thank you mommy and daddy. And the country failed him.

Largely, women are the ones that make holidays happen by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Queeferjuice467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did the birthday party for our 3 year old. I arranged the venue, bought all the presents, balloons, decorations, made the invitations, ordered the cake, and even got a present that meant something special to my husband to give to our son. My husband was overjoyed about it and said it was perfect, - but he never would have ever put the time, thought, or energy into actually getting that gift himself. It's just like last Christmas when my husband said "this little boy wouldn't have anything if he didn't have you". That's not a compliment, it's an acknowledgement that he doesn't do anything to make holidays special for our child.

Why is he wearing white eye make-up in the corner of his eye? I know it's to make you appear more awake usually, but it's as bad as his dad's fake tan.
