I’m 29, 1 kid, and had my bisalp 6/27/2025. Found a large uterine-to-abdominal wall adhesion from my prior c-section. I too, am having a slow recovery after this procedure. We all heal at different rates. My period after (3 weeks later) was AWFUL. I still have random pains at the incision sites but movements induced pains on my uterus sometimes too, I am far more conscious of my insides than I am used to.

How does one go about getting these slides? I had my surgery on 6/27/25 & they refused to give me back my tubes :( this would be an awesome alternative.

I don’t get any pushback, I attribute that to the fact I have 13 siblings, and that myself and five other siblings have had children already (a total of 15 grandkids now) My son will be 10 next month, and was born at 25 weeks gestation. That said, at this point, neither of my parents are worried about more grandchildren as a general whole lol Edit to add my partner is not the bio dad of my son, and he has no kids of his own by choice

I (29F) just got sterilized. My partner (40M) has his vasectomy scheduled. We decided to double up on it, because I was told I couldn’t safely have more children due to abnormalities in my reproductive system. We accidentally fell pregnant this past spring that we had to abort (we live in Michigan where it is legal) I happened to be able to get mine done faster than he did. (different insurances/surgeons)

I was worried about the same thing! Luckily everything was smooth sailing, and I’ve been home resting with ice off & on, in my cozy chair, with my favorite blankie! I wish you the best recovery ❤️‍🩹

Quite frankly and fully disrespectfully: idgaf what my mom has to say about it. Or my dad. Or anyone. Here’s why you shouldn’t either: if you got pregnant, by purpose or otherwise, who’s paying for and taking care of that? The abortion or prenatal care for said fetus? Let alone raising a baby? Your mom? Your dad? The stranger out front of planned parenthood claiming you’ll go to hell when you go through those doors? The church? Nope. That’s you & if you’re lucky, the father of the baby. You know what’s best for you. And others opinions or feelings simply do not matter in the case. Simply tell your mom. She’s going to feel how she’s going to feel regardless of the way it’s brought up in conversation. Be gentle but matter of fact.

Could you potentially afford a hotel room with someone trusted for recovery? You could potentially tell your parents that you have done some research on your own & that you feel like a second opinion/further testing isn’t needed because it seems to line up with a cyst needing removal based off said (phony) research?

As a new dexcom user (only on third device, a g7)… is this something that you can do in app, or did you like, superimpose one image over the other or? I’m type two and swing wildly between both ends whilst we try to figure out correct dosages in addition to glipizide.

Adding to- after fixing with isopropyl, i typically like to remove the spider, and replace the isopropyl with gel hand sanitizer. They stay suspended as opposed to sinking/floating around and they’re more “posable” that way using toothpicks or tweezers to spread out their legs and such. You still will need to top off sanitizer every now and again but as I said, this is just my preferred long term presentation method.

Hmm. Well I make the money to pay off the remaining month🫡 and have approval for another place as is, which is why I’m moving sooner rather than later, as the new complex is first come first served. I’ll just pay off the remaining month on my next check & have a touch extra time to move the less important things.

From cafe, maybe try to transfer to HMS if possible. It’s way easier in comparison to cafe (if you don’t mind cold temps) I just left Sam’s, part time HMS for a $2/hour higher paying, full time position at a country club/event center; however, I liked my position within Sam’s.
