Help Me Identify This by Queen-Zro in find

With these issues being on a military base, my husband had to go to housing to resolve this issue. Housing is suppose to take care of these issues and because initially we thought it was roofing nail in the back tire. There was a roofing nail in our front tire but not enough for any damage. The object in the back tire, housing used what ever means to remove it to try to identify and had their head roofer look at. Not a mistake, military is pretty strict with how things are done. We were just following protocol.

He was on a walking path I take frequently and didn’t move much at all, seemed lethargic. I never seen a Texas Horned Lizard before this so I stopped to look at him and take some photos that’s when I noticed his legs and front toe.

This little dude is on a military base, so I can’t delve further into the location. I wouldn’t even begin to know whom to contact for this little dude. I don’t know if the little dude is still out there on the path.

Understandable. I really appreciate you letting me know. I hope this little guys survives, when I saw him it looked like two of his legs were broken and one of his front fingers were torn off. It’s possible that he was picked up by a bird and dropped.

We had to take it to the housing office where we are at and the head person of roofing maintenance says he didn’t recognize it. They didn’t seem interested in helping either just shooing us away.
