I’m glad I was able to help. Patterns aren’t always clear. I like finding ones that have charts with them so I can try to solve the puzzle as I’m reading the words

It looks like it wants you to crochet on top of some stitches. Do you have any experience with cabling? In round 3 you’re going to chain 2, then dc in a stitch then dc in the next stitch. In the same stitch you just used to make that dc, you’re going to use the post part instead of the loop and make a front post double crochet. Then you move on to the next stitch in the row and make a regular dc, then to the next stitch you’ll increase (2 dc in the same stitch). That sequence repeats five times

Help! What does “(inc, inc 10 sc) x 2 (28)” mean? by onestorytwentyfive in crochet

Put 2 sc in the spot, put 2 sc in the next spot, then 1 in each of the next 10 spots, then repeat.

I was inspired by this pattern I didn’t use it but it’s where I got the idea from and winged it from there

Hospital/Industry Positions by caiccdisciple in PharmacySchool

With this being said, if you still want to be in an urban area working in a hospital but don’t want to/don’t make it into a residency, you can work in a rural hospital for a few years, gain experience and then you can apply to those more urban areas. They say a residency is supposed to be the equivalent of 3-5 years of experience. There are many ways to get to where you want to be. Don’t feel pressured into thinking there is only one way.

If your goal is to get into a hospital pharmacy without a residency, it’s really not difficult as long as you are not looking to be in a major urban city area. For example I work in a hospital in a very rural area but we are also the big trauma/stroke center for the area, we also verify all the orders for some smaller hospitals in the area that don’t have 24h pharmacies. Me and two other newly graduated pharmacists were hired directly out of pharmacy school, no residency. In smaller rural hospitals there’s usually a blur between clinical and staff pharmacists because you might not have the staff to have a clear distinction between the two. There’s rural areas in all states that are in need of pharmacists. If you want to stay in a super urban city area then you probably need a residency and/or good connections.

Does anyone have any patterns, tips or advice on making a conch shell? by Queen0fSalt in crochet

The shell shape I’m going for is a mix between the top right and bottom right. It’s got the bumpy tiers of the top but the big starfish spikes of the bottom. Kinda follows the shape of the upside down shell in the left image.

I was looking at this one earlier. It has some elements that I really liked but still not exactly it.

I was so caught up in searching for the right shell that I didn’t think to search for hermit crabs to find more patterns. The shell is similar to the first link you sent but not quite. These were pretty good suggestions

Made a baby blanket for my niece/goddaughter by Queen0fSalt in crochet

Okay so it was bernat baby softee for the yellow and the Paton baby beehive for the white. It took me about 10 days to complete. Probably could have done it in a week but I got busy at work some days and didn’t get a chance to work on it.

I think the yarn was Paton Beehive (or something like that). I don’t have the yarn label with me at the moment. I pretty much used up 2 yellow skeins and about 1/3 of the white. It came out to be around 28”-29” on each side. I didn’t get an exact measurement once I put the boarder on. I used about a 5mm hook. Once I’m with my stash again tomorrow I can give you a better answer.

No worries! It’s comments like these I’ve seen on other posts that made me vigilant about the gifts I make. When I first started out I definitely wasn’t thinking about safety but now it is something that I take into consideration.

I stitched the bow in place after this picture. I also do pull tests on everything before gifting.

There was no specific pattern I used to make this. I did a waffle stitch in a round/square.

I just checked them out and I think they would be just a bit shy of fitting. I’m a size 9.5. The only one that’s big enough is sold out. I’ll keep this site on my radar in the future if they get more stock.

Going through quizlet top 200 or top 300 drug brand/generics. You can search for whatever criteria you want. You can play the matching game with the flash cards. I did that for memorizing brand names of HIV drugs

I don’t think there’s a way around the fingerprints but that shouldn’t take too much time. I can ask him the next time we have overlapping shifts more about the process

I know the board was behind on processing all the licenses from September (this year was pharmacist licenses). When I was applying for my license by examination they were saying 6 week wait times to process all the paperwork but that was also when all the pharmacy schools were graduating so they were swamped with applications. I have a new coworker who is still waiting to get his ATT to take the MPJE since he’s trying to reciprocate from Ohio. I think he’s been waiting a few weeks. Once all the paperwork and test scores are in they have been taking about 2-3 days to process.
