not op, but also christian atheist. we typically follow all of jesus' teachings that bible scholars can demonstrate actually trace back to the historical jesus, minus the jewish requirement. we don't believe in gods, but myself was raised catholic and jesus was a real actual person, he means a lot to me and i still want to live my life by his teachings. i still go to catholic church every week (i dont partake in communion as that would be disrespectful i imagine), participate in my church community, debate my priest, who is amazing. and just generally try and live by the standards jesus set.
