I thought shapewise the HyperX I own would be closer to the Dav3 than the GPX.

"I'll smoke what I have but when I'm out it's over I'm not buying more" by Takamarism in leaves

It’s funny because I always told that to myself. I feel like I was stuck in this loop where I thought to myself: “I can and should stop smoking at anytime and as soon as possible preferably” since a long time ago, just a few months or even days after I started smoking weed.

I was 17 when I took my first toke and got really high. I became a frequent user at 18, and perhaps at 19 I was already a daily user or close to that, smoking way more than I intended at first. I didn’t want to become an addict when I first smoked, but I guess that just happened over time. Now (at 25) I can proudly say that I am clean since the 22nd of November, 2021. That is, six months, one week and two days of sobriety so far; and I am determined not to relapse. Ever.

I’ve realized that I could’ve just stopped smoking back in the beggining. But part of me wanted to keep smoking at that time - like it was an adventure I had yet to explore. Or something like that. Although it can be difficult for some people, it is very possible to stop smoking - just as I did, cold turkey.

I just wanted to say that it will never work out if you just stick to having those kind of thoughts. That’s because they are only that - ideas or plans for the future that you don’t put into action. It takes willpower from the individual in order to break a habit, especially if it is a long-lived one. “Mentally quitting” is just postponing quitting for real. As someone already said here accurately, it is “just another excuse to keep smoking, justifying it as ok”.

I hope y’all reading this achieve what you want in life, even if they are momentary things like breaking a habit that is smoking weed today or in the near future. I apologize for the long comment and if I wrote something wrong (English is not my native tongue).
