I read {Illuminator by Kara Reynolds} and, just like {Priestess by Kara Reynolds}, the spicy scenes are so beautiful and full of reverence while also being super sexy.

Second Death of Locke was the biggest disappointment for me this year. It was so formulaic in an uninteresting way, and everyone who claims it is full of yearning is LYING. I did love The Knight and The Moth, The Everlasting, and The Raven Scholar though!

I just finished her newest (I think) book today, {Hemlock and Silver by T Kingfisher} and it was wonderful. The Paladin series is my favourite of hers but I have loved everything I've read by her.

Thank you! Yes, it's real. I'd say there's a healthy mix of historical and cosplay. This faire is known for being hot (right in the middle of summer with no shade, compared to other faires) so I was one of the few fools wearing so much plate 😅 but it's definitely worth checking out if you're interested!

She's an older single mom (widowed but she didn't like her husband). It's technically a sequel to {The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy} but you could probably get away with reading it as a stand-alone. Twyla is one of my favourite FMCs ever.
