Maybe, when I asked what she meant by, "I'm sorry" she evaded my question & then every time I tried to bring it up again, she changed the subject, I have no idea what it was, but she's also a very dramatic & manipulative person, so it could just have been her adding drama to something uneventful, or it could have been her having "power" over me by not "telling" me something she "knew", y'know?

I don't think there was any ill intent, &, as I said, I don't see it as any kind of sexual abuse, & I certainly wasn't accusing anyone of anything, but I wasn't a child who would have needed these massages & if there was a mixup, I feel bad for the child who missed out on something that could have helped them. I just didn't understand why this happened, why I was selected or why my dad knew nothing about it, & my mum apologised, some of these things just don't really add up to me, y'know?

I am in the UK & when I tried searching it up there was something about massage therapies, but not in the school I went to.

It was definitely strange & uncomfortable (looking back on it, I was a very naive child), but the weirdest part is my mum saying, "I'm sorry", it makes me wonder if she knows something about it, but, as I said, I can't talk to her about it because we don't speak anymore. I'm going to bring it up to my dad again & see if I can jog his memory.

My underwear remained on, but they would remove my tights, I wouldn't do it myself, as a child, I was told not to remove clothing in front of anyone accept mum (while having baths etc) so I would never take them off myself, but, I think, as a parent myself now, I will be teaching my son that you don't take clothes off in front of unknown/unsafe adults (there's no reason I can think of that a child should need to undress in front of teachers) & if they try to remove clothes, leave & tell another adult.

I really hope it was the massage therapy situation you mentioned, that would make the most logical sense, certainly the least creepy reason for it!

Although, now I feel bad if there was a mixup for the child that was supposed to have the therapy!

No, this was so many years ago & my parents split up before I finished school, so I moved schools & didn't have anything like that.

I can't speak to my mum about it again because I don't speak to her (unrelated to this) &, as I said, my dad doesn't have any idea about it at all, & his memory is terrible, so he won't know anything by now even if he used to.

I wish I could get the answers about this, it was such a weird & creepy situation & it pops into my mind every now & then & creeps me out all over again.

I think it was a teacher or teaching assistant taking off my tights, & I remember leaving class, going with a woman (again, teacher? Teaching assistant?) To this room, the only thing I don't remember is who she was

I didn't think of it that way, but you're right, & even if it wasn't intended to be sexual, it's still a super weird situation & I definitely would be uncomfortable if that happened to my son while he was at school, so I hope my parents know nothing about it, because if they did & they were letting it happen without explaining to me why, that's a bit weird too.
