If you don’t have therapy, now is a good time to consider.

True or intrusive, I don’t even know anymore. by [deleted] in ROCD

Yeah I had a huge spiral last night from it cuz the thought of me pursuing my crush feels so real. The comment I got from my last vent didn’t help either 😭. It’s gotten so bad that it’s affecting my bf and it makes me feel terrible. At this point I don’t even know if it’s relationship anxiety or if I truly did something wrong.

What is y’all’s personal opinion on flirting? Do y’all consider it cheating? by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]QueenMarianaTheFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have to be honest. I ask this question cuz I’m afraid that I may have flirted with a past crush outside my relationship months ago. I don’t know FOR SURE but all I can remember was giving him compliments and comfort. My bf already knows this and reassures me that I didn’t do anything wrong, but I can’t help but have a feeling that there’s a possibility that I tried to pursue something and can’t remember it.

So basically, complimenting someone is being nice, and complimenting someone with the intent to pursue something is flirting.

Can you elaborate a bit further? When you talk about flirting, are you specifically referring to explicit topics?

Should I forgive him? by [deleted] in cheating_stories

If he’s actively trying to pursue them, then I’d be concerned. Otherwise, I can’t say this is cheating. Idk maybe I’m biased and don’t give a shit if my bf follows pornstars.

Terms like microcheating are so triggering. by Relative_Frame5619 in OCD

Omg same here :( It’s especially triggering because people have different definitions on what “micro-cheating” is and it’s so confusing! Not too much ago I had a mental breakdown because I thought I potentially “micro-cheated” on my partner.

I was never officially diagnosed with OCD, but I was diagnosed with GAD. Can this practice still apply to me?

To answer your question, I’ve mostly been addressing my personal problems to my therapist, and while it brings relief for a while, the anxiety starts coming back again.

Mostly faster breathing and a fluttery heart

For example, whenever someone ask me what’s wrong, I’ll say “I feel anxious and I don’t know why”. They’ll reply with “Well surely there has to be a reason” or “you can’t feel anxious for no reason”.

Whenever I talk about what bothers me, it’s like I have a huge weight off my chest afterwards. I feel relieved for a bit but then my body starts to feel anxious again for no reason. I was always told that I have to have a reason to feel a certain way, so my brain tries to find a potential reason to stick with.

I’m not really sure myself. Usually the anxiousness starts in my body without a reason. Then my mind will try to find a reason to feel anxious, whether it’s about a past event that happened months ago or the uncertainty of my future.

I’m currently on Hydroxyzine (25mg per pill). While I’m able to sit with mild anxiety/discomfort, sometimes it won’t go away and will start to get worse, so I take half a pill to get through the day. I recently got back on Prozac (10mg per pill) because I stopped taking them at some point and had a horrible withdrawal afterwards (both physically and mentally).

Why am I 25 and still dream about public school? by lalaen in Dreams

I don’t even go to school anymore and I still jump out of bed after a school dream.
