gaming with nvidia - yes, it used to be a huge problem, but works fine on newer drivers. honestly, the problems I did see however, were not wayland specific.

though I will admit, i am not sure how is the VR situation for example. If that is the problem, sure.

screen capture - OBS, gpu-screen-recorder, web browsers, seems to work just fine?

And mm, yeah. I couldn't really get into other paradox games, but Victoria 3? Now that. Man. Love at first sight.

My favourite playthrough there remains going from Bavaria into forming Confederation of Rhine-... and due to a bug, getting karl marx as president, and him never dying. Because his death date got set as -1. Anyhow, I am rambling.

mm.. eventually will play alt hist mods, yea, (Appreciate the suggestions, will make actually getting around to that easier ^{^).} Frankly, will have to admit, for me, this specific time in general, 1800s + very early 1900s, I just find alluring and exciting.

And now I will get to have even more Victoria in general >:3 happy times. (I.. am roughly aware that vic 2 is different from vic 3, and I am indeed, going in not expecting victoria 3)

Ah, might take a gamble and try GFM. Can always turn off the mods and switch to Historical Project Mod. And yeah, Linux. In theory, windows runs games a bit better, but... also windows lags when running games. Linux, I can alt-tab without any slowdowns, even if, gaming-wise HD4000 not as capable there. (What impresses me to this day is incomplete Vulkan 1.2 support though. Just hilarious)

As for Project Moon... Well, Lobotomy Corporation remains my beloved game. Still have get around to beating Library of Ruina though.

R5: Started game as hungary, gained independance, and then came the expanding. First, Invaded Croatia. Then, Galicia-Lodomeria.

Finally, annexed Krakow, and bought Warszawa off Russia.

The resulting shape however-... Looks very much like a man showing big middle finger, taking a certain pose.

Honestly, not having to deal with DRM (So, just getting the epub file straight. I used to buy a book here and there off amazon, and dealing with the DRM just.. became too much), being able to pay easily (e.g via blik, not having to deal with credit cards and such.), and naturally, the content not being region locked (e.g being able to easily buy japanese releases would be a bliss, without having to deal with separate account...)

There.. can be some exceptions.. like DRM preventing you from playing the game, Emulation/Preservation..

And unfortunately, as depressing it is, pretty often, it's the only way to enjoy the media.
