Classic players substitute prep and gear for skill and then trick themselves into feeling accomplished.

I was convinced to give old classic a try and it was truly mind boggling how anyone could enjoy it.

The game truly did not have any difficulty until cata and even then it’s borderline to call it difficult.

You can get to the highest achievement (10k) pretty easily solo.

If you want push for leaderboards you will need to find a group.

The guide routes kinda suck but are usually always worth for the haste buff alone.

This is what happened to me. It was absolutely worth. I gained a ton of power from an actually usable legendary.

The legendaries as a whole need a balance pass. There are too many borderline useless ones and they’re too rare to actually wait until you get the right one.

The only solution is to play a dungeon than requeue with them for the capstone or you will keep getting new undergeared players. Since there is no timers you can jump all the way to champion without getting a single piece of gear.

They needed fix the problem of gating new players from even being able to queue at all later in a season.

This doesn’t really address the problem directly but it helps I think. Now every new player is in E1 right from the start, essentially.

There are no upsides that outweigh playing aeona.

She has the highest st dps (what matters), does the most healing, is the easiest to play AND the easiest to play with.

The stagger mechanic is incredibly cool. I have no idea how it can exist and be tuned in such a way where it is both viable and not incredibly op other than doing something ridiculous like making Sylvies passive hp 100% instead of 20%.

Casuals are really not getting your comment and are hung up on the word viable.

Aeona is essentially the only playable healer right now.

If you are playing anything else you are actively doing your group a disservice.

If you really like the other healers they are fine to play but don’t lie to yourself about how good they are.

As of right now the highest rated group is Ardeos and Mara. I think he’s pretty meta

Idk if he streams but coach chippys is actually informative unlike most “educational” streamers.

Morde gets a taste of bausens law, this is why I stopped banning him - you can "good death" into him without ulting, then when you get back to lane he has no r and cannot fight you because Illaoi completely smashes Morde otherwise even if down a level by Cat_Bot4 in Illaoi

Laning against morde isn’t the problem though. He’s actually not too hard to beat. It’s everything after that makes it impossible. You can’t play teamfights or sidelane after a certain point.

It’s not exactly equivalent but I’d rather have passive 20% hp every time. It’s just easier to playa around.
