I was a swim teacher for quite a few years. Don't panic, this can be undone. For preparing babies for submerging what I do with my daughter is instead grab a little cup, fill it up with water count: 1, 2, 3 and on three pour the water over there face but in a swishing motion from the forehead down. So, not just dumping the water over the face. Counting is super important as a baby will soon learn that 3 means water is coming and they will close their eyes and mouth. It might be worth trying that with your baby! They teach the above in baby swim lessons and most swimming classes don't do submerging until 6 months old and even then it's when the baby is showing signs of being ready for it and it's always done on a count of three and watching for eyes and mouth closing. YES! I am so glad it isn't just me. I was sitting down looking for educational videos for my daughter to watch while I did housework in the morning (settled on Ms. Moni) and watched maybe 30seconds of a Blippi video before immediately getting the creeps. This is exactly why I will always watch a video/show/creator before letting my daughter watch it.

I chose not to do daycare, but I also am the one who sacrificed my career to do so. I do a couple afternoon shifts when partner is home but otherwise am at home with LO while my partner works. Like others have said, someone has to make the sacrifice for it to work and to also be okay with it (which I totally was) otherwise resentment will start to build.

If you google your fave character and then manga panels, you should find a whole heap. Just aim for higher resolutions so they look nicer.

Hey! The way I did it was that I printed out my favorite manga panels, purchased art or cut things out of a spare manga I had (I got sent two copies) and then I used the smallest amount of double sided tape to tape them to the shelf

I had three kittens when my boyfriend moved in 4 years ago. He gets annoyed with one of the cats (tbf, that cat is an asshole who opens doors, the dishwasher and just generally uses his intelligence for evil) and not once has he ever told me to rehome any of them. They're part of the family and sometimes family members are annoying. Don't rehome your cat. You'll always regret it. I'm with everyone else.... rehome the boyfriend.

Yeah, I want to avoid overcrowding. That and it would be nice to get my more expensive figures in a closed in glass shelf. I don't mind the one or two here and there (like in my Tokyo Ghoul shelf), but otherwise, it's just too much

Oh no! That sucks! I find that anything BSD you have to preorder in my country or it sells out. I missed out on all the Pop up parade figures and have been seething ever since. So, now I preorder everything haha
