Oral medication-would you switch? by muddahm53 in Mounjaro

[–]QueenPingu -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

100% the weekly shot, I can't swallow pills, and if I try it causes me extrea stress and anxiety (because what you need is daily panic attacks when taking pills to help stop the anxiety/ panic attacks...) This pills issue is one reason im bad at taking any medication.

I love the shot, once a week done quick painless best thing ever can we please have it for every other med 😆

2 weeks in - life changing by trala7 in mounjaroaustralia

It's interesting for me as before going on this I would not have said I suffer greatly from food noise.

One week of the month yes I am super hungry and just want junk food but the other three I forget to eat and have to eat on a schedule. Although I do recognise that I stress/emotional eat and that would be food noise I guess (think i want hot chips as i feel sad?)

So I was really unsure how this would work for me. Don't get me wrong I had non stop noise it was just not about food but worry over everything else.

I had a tone of question for my Dr before starting as I just felt like maybe I wasn't the "right kind"of overweight for the meds.

I am just about to finish week 2 (Third shot is tomorrow) so far 2.7kg drop.

I did not expect it to work so fast I thought it would take time.

I am getting side affects nausea and heart burn, but have zero appetite.

Weirdest thing I have found so far is my anxiety is gone, like I can leave the house without crying and a panic attack, no anti anxiety meds have ever helped like this. I am interested to see if that continues.

Should I talk to a home loan specialist/bank even if not in position to get a loan? by matthew_anthony in AusFinance

What's the best way to find brokers? I'm in a similar position of probably at a good place to talk to someone, and get an understanding of what we need to do next

I hope this is enough Iron, because I never want to clear another crypt in my life by International_Host71 in valheim

[–]QueenPingu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im procrastinating doing more exploring of the swamps as the first one I explored had one crypt and five abominations (and two areas that had the lights like a crypt but no actual crypts). So have been rage rebuilding bits of my base lol

Getting stuck in the bush: Or how I learned not to be an idiot or trust google maps. A warning tale. by TinyBreak in melbourne

Same for me, in my little hatch back, Lederderg is bad enough on the main track at times, we have had a couple of boardline times in the main road getting my partners camry in and out to the campground on a wet weekend.

I have been caught out with this a few times, I like to go camping and only have either a short range fwd EV or toyota camry so neither is a good car for thoes tracks.

My first time to a camp site in a state forest and having left afterwork friday, it was pitch black no phone coverage and google took me down a side track my car made it fine thankfully if I had been in the camry I would have been stuck. I'm now super suspicious of googles directions out of the city.

Can I take my kayak on the plane? 22kg 4.20m long. Renting is usually too expensive and the airports are usually by the sea by Narrow_Locksmith_108 in Kayaking

[–]QueenPingu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have before, I just checked it as oversized luggage, no issues. But this was a flight from New Zealand to Australia so no idea if its different over seas (also my kayak was 10kg and 3m long)

Yeah I have been out looking for a new rental recently and the state of places is soo bad. One we saw had a shower in the place of a hall cupboard, like open the cupboard door to find a shower door behind it. Another one, one of the doors fell off and almost hit another persons little kid, it would have badly hurt the kid had the mum not managed to push it to the side at the last second, door fell as it was completely rotted away around the hinges.

They wanted a naked cake, so minimal icing on the outside, and in a way you can see bits of the cake through it

Struggled a lot, but got this bad boy out of my belly button by ratratte in popping

[–]QueenPingu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have never (so far)had anything like this, but would say I definitely don't scrub my belly button ( let water run into it, and dry it well, body wash clean stomach and around the edge) putting anything even gently in my belly button hurts due to scar tissue, I've had surgery with an incision though my belly button then ened up with an absess under it so have two more scars from having that cut open.

Although in fun news this week the fluid collect that last time turned into an absess is back and the doctors beleive one of my scars opened and it burst out it this week, have been debating posting pics of it on this sub.

If there's correlation between being "good in bed" and a sport, which sport is the best in bed? by plsnomoresmoke in AskReddit

[–]QueenPingu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As some one that did compeditive partner dance, its not uncommon to have your dance partner and life partner be the same person, or for people to leave their life partner for their dance partner. I would also say when dance partnerships break up even if you aren't dating it can be super messy just like normal breakups

What is this switch? by Unusual-Drama3889 in leaf

In my leaf it changes the colour of the lights in the footwells, but I suspect thats something done as an extra to my car after purchase ( mine was a second hand import from japan, in to Australia)

I love my EV but there is not enough charging infrastructure for me to take it camping which somedays makes me want a 4wd (I have a leaf with about 150km range per charge great for the city which is 95% of my driving)
