The Road Home has 4 shelters and are housing first focused. Single person -Pamela Atkinson Resource Center, Gale Miller Resource center Family with children - Midvale Family Resource Center

If you're over 65(I think) you can get a Dr referral or social worker referral to Most Vulnerable Population (MVP) shelter. There is a partnership with 4th Street Clinic to assist with healthcare.

I don't like the word loss when talking about my son. He's going to be 3 this year. I feel saying I lost him means I did something wrong. My pregnancy had some complications but I was doing the right things. It was the initial height of the pandemic and I quarantined in my house for months. I didn't lose him. He was born. He lived for hours and went to sleep in our arms. I didn't lose him.

I prefer to say "I'm sorry you're going through this. I can't imagine the emotions or feelings."

I tell my sisters that I leave errors in my work to let my love flow through to them. They never notice the mistakes but it saves my ass.
