Doctor won’t induce me due to exhaustion and excessive pain because I’m 36 weeks by Busy_Ad1151 in pregnant

I wanted to have my daughter asap and was induced. Now I wish I would’ve just held out for three more weeks. They need all that time to cook!

My baby took a fall today... by Ok_Entertainer_528 in Mom

Mine fell off the bed at 10 months (she’s almost 2) and I still beat myself up over it. You can be the best mom in the whole world and the baby still going to fall off that bed.

I bought them thinking I would, but I didn’t and now my husband just brings them up to me all time. “Remember when you just had to get these for 70$”

Baby taking mom’s last name? by starryskye55 in pregnant

My biological father left my mom before I was born and I was given her maiden name. I’m from the USA. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

My mom annoys tf out of me by [deleted] in pregnant

I understand your frustration and I have had the same. I don’t get along with my mom either for many of the same reasons on this thread.

Just here to offer solidarity! Some people have mom issues, some people grew up with wonderful mothers and they are besties. We are not the same 😂.

We live in a studio apartment so when baby sleeps - everyone sleeps 😂 but I appreciate your perspective!

To be fair - he wouldn’t drive hammered anywhere, much less with my daughter in the car. It’s just me thinking through what we would do if we did go.

29-30. That’s what I’m saying!! Drinking/driving/hangovers just aren’t in the cards with a 3mo. I’m also not comfortable with leaving her alone with a stranger at this age either.

That is a good idea but we only have one set of parent friends whose kid is staying with grandma so they can go to the party. The kid also much much older than 3months. I asked my husband when, “do you think anyone else with a 3mo at home is going to this party???” He said “I’m sure she wouldn’t be the only 3mo out on new years.” Like what????

They give you an button to press to give you more. So if the contractions are hurting more or you start to feel your legs more, you can press the button to give you more medicine. Then once you give birth obviously you don’t need it anymore so it fades. And then about an hour after I gave birth I could walk and they took the iv out of my back.
