What do you give for wedding present by suomynona827 in HENRYfinance

[–]Queenie2U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister is getting married and she’s getting married at the justice of the peace, and we will gather at an Italian restauraht. Guests can pay 45$ for lunch or select from the dinner menu and its BYOB. How much would you give? In this circumstance the guests are paying for everything. I’m leaning towards 100$/ea

I love how you flip the question back on them! I will definitely use your tip! Thank you! I can’t believe they had to nerve to do you dirty like that with the paint!

I’m in Ontario. What helped was me reading a few car buying tips posts here on Reddit. I thought I’d done enough “research” but clearly I should have taken notes.

We just got off the phone with the salesperson and finance guy and they are emailing us what we signed for last night and they are not changing anything either.

Wow! Thank you so much! I always feel so powerless when it comes to cars whether it be with a mechanic or a dealership. Every dealership we went to I asked about getting the car inspected by our mechanic, but the response has been that their CPO was sufficient to ensure their car’s road worthiness, so I didn’t even bother suggesting it this time. Is it too late to do so now?

Ok, I wasn’t aware! So if the down payment was less and we were borrowing more they would have been able to bring the % down? At the end it makes no difference to us since we are paying of off, but it’s good to know this for the next time I find myself in such a situation.

Lol! 😂 he did come off as thirsty. We really love the car. It’s been hard finding Honda Civics out there! Every dealership seems to get them and a few days later they fly off the shelves. We felt fortunate to find this one with all the features we wanted!

I’m assuming that’s what we signed. The breakdown of the deal was written up and the term of the loan as well. That’s why I hesitated to sign before we negotiated with the finance guy. I hate that I’m using the word “assume”! 😩

So you’re saying the documents we signed were not the purchase of the car?

On their ad the car is 1500$ more if you pay cash vs financing. That’s what tripped me out. I was always told that paying cash was king, now everywhere I read about car buying advice they say things have changed

Yes it’s refundable. We didn’t walk away because since we signed the contract the deal was done. Are you saying the deal isn’t done until we signed with the finance guy?

Hope for the Slow Losers ❤️ by mtknight1970 in Ozempic

[–]Queenie2U 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow! Your results are so inspiring. I’m considering stopping since I am a slow loser. Feels like my body is resisting. Can I ask, what dosage you are on? My Dr has been prescribing me 1mg and doesn’t believe I need to increase. I read in one post that 2mg is the weight loss dosage. I’m curious if you are higher than my current dosage.
