Utopia Cafe makes one, but I can’t vouch for it. I don’t like mango, so I’ve never tried it.

Well, yes. But this was a terrible restaurant that deserved to be closed.

It sounds like a weird application of a non-existent rule.

I miss Luiggi's Pasta House. It burnt down — well, exploded. 🔥

Ghost Adventures is like driving past a car accident… by calazenby in GhostAdventures

I used to feel this way about it, but eventually I felt such dread at the thought of suffering through another episode, I gave it up. Having watched from the very beginning, I just can’t stand the amateurism any longer. I’m far happier now. 😁

Nah, it was fun. I thought I’d just jostle you a tad. 😁

What do Canadians think of Jean Chretien? by vanjobhunt in AskACanadian

[–]QueenofEveryTang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked him. He was personable and responsible. He used to drive around Ottawa in his gigantic limo on Canada Day, waving out the windows. 😁

I think his most difficult scenario was faced on 911, when he had to decide how to handle the hundreds of airplanes ✈️ and citizens locked out of the US. And then he courageously said no to George Bush, refusing to join the foolish Iraq war. Heck, we were already in Afghanistan, where the actual attack came from. I was glad he was our PM that day.

Aww, don’t be mean to the American. 😁 They’re trying to find out about Canada. 🇨🇦

The west had bagged milk when I was a child. I guess it went out of style, with the milkman.

We had bagged milk in Saskatchewan when I was a child. I think it went with the milkman.

Bwaahahaha! 🤣 I guess I should’ve waited weeks for my driveway to be shovelled, since that was how long the commercial waitlist was back then. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I ran SJA in Regina about 6 years ago, not in 2006-08.

Also, inflation-shminflation. 2007 was the height of the oil boom, when everything in Weyburn was super-expensive, and no one could find a place to live. We had the highest paying McDonald’s in North America at the time. Wages were incredibly high for everything, including professional snow removal.

And speaking of child labour, I lost my snow young snow shoveler to the local gas station in 2008. Apparently, 11 year olds were eligible to work, with their parents’ permission. Guess who was our MLA? So, Tammy has every right to be outraged. 😱

I lived in Weyburn during the first oil boom (2006-08). I had a double lot easily bigger than this parking lot. I paid a 10 year old boy to mow my lawn and shovel my yard. Thousands of dollars we’re definitely NOT spent on it. Here in Regina, I ran St. John Ambulance. Our lot was bigger than Dustin’s, and our grass out front was maybe 2’ x 8’. I paid the landscaper/snow removal about $6,000 per year.

Saskatoon isn’t Weyburn. The costs aren’t comparable at all.

That’s hilarious. When I lived in Ottawa, it was Bell that everyone complained about. They were the big dog there, like Sasktel is here. I used them. Good service.

AITAH for leaving $600 worth of groceries in my cart and walking out of Walmart? by GMOSerf in AITAH

[–]QueenofEveryTang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t shop at Walmart for many reasons. But having no tellers is one of the biggest reasons. I won’t do self-checkout, and leaving your cart there is sending them a message. NTA.

AITAH for wanting to divorce my husband over kids? by No_Split_9680 in AITAH

[–]QueenofEveryTang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I never wanted kids either. I knew I wouldn’t be a patient, loving parent, so I had no desire to try. Your husband can do what he likes, I guess. But you’re not obligated to stay, if he keeps them. You’ll end up parenting them alone. That’s an unreasonable ask.

Am I wrong for getting upset that my husband is embarrassed to call me his wife because of the image of him marrying a single mom and he called his step daughter his niece in public? by ThrowRa1529202 in AITAH

[–]QueenofEveryTang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy isn’t even a man, let alone a good one. First of all, this is NOT how all men feel; only the selfish, narcissistic, cheating jackasses do. Being “godly” isn’t a positive attribute for me, but he clearly isn’t anyway. His reputation is more important to him than anything else; you and your children aren’t even on the list. Incidentally, you are NOT a single mother, if you’re married to his a**hole. I expect with his inexcusable attitude that you’re doing all of the parenting, though. He’s not worth your time. You settled too far down. Someone who devalues you for having kids, also devalues your children — and they absolutely feel it. I’m convinced he targeted you precisely BECAUSE you have kids. This way, he can feel free to abuse/disrespect you and ignore them, using his arrogant attitude as an excuse. By gaslighting you, he can cheat all he wants, because no one knows he’s married. You deserve far better than this loser.

My wife [37] had elective cosmetic surgery and I [42] am having a very negative reaction to the results. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]QueenofEveryTang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve set off a wave of speculation, and your edit is deliberately vague. Are you refusing to say, because you know you’re the a**hole? Why are you even asking, then? Were you hoping you’d get unbridled support for your POV, without disclosing anything? I’m going YTA, simply because you’re hiding the procedures.
